Hello aotearas, thank you for your post about our Battle Pass progression and Ubisoft Connect challenges.

Both of these mechanics can take up to 48 hours to synchronize with our servers and update your progression, so there may be a delay when you complete these objectives/earn BP points in-game, to when you actually receive them later on.

If you need to enquire about any particular challenge or Battle Pass tier, and you haven't received these within 48 hours, let us know which particular challenge/tier has bugged for you and send us a screenshot or video that shows you should have earned that reward.

Hello everyone, thank you for getting in touch regarding cross-progression.

The cross-progression in Siege is only available between the PC, Stadia, PC and Amazon Luna platforms at the moment.
 
The cross-progression between the PlayStation and Xbox consoles will be launched, sometime in 2022.

The cross-progression in Siege is only available between the PC, Stadia, PC and Amazon Luna platforms at the moment.
 
The cross-progression between the PlayStation and Xbox consoles will be launched, sometime in 2022.

Cross progression merges the data across both accounts, so Operators and Renown etc will be merged across applicable platforms.

I would recommend the following steps to help resolve this issue >

- Verify the game's installation files, through the game launcher, to fix any corrupt or missing files that may be causing the crashes -

- Run all of the games .exe files as an administrator. Locate the .exe file, right-click on the file, select Properties, select the Compatability tab, select Run as administrator, select Apply then OK.

Hello @Jo-F34R, thank you for reaching out to us about this issue.

To help fix this, first makke a back up of the following file, then delete it from its game folder, in case any recently changed settings are causing this issue >
C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\\GameSettings.ini​​

You can also open the file up with a Notepad type editor, to check your saved monitor settings.

Next, try verifying your game files in case of any corrupted files causing this issue. This can sometimes happen after an update.

Hello miniraccas, thank you for getting in touch with us and sorry for the delayed reply.

What launcher are you launching the game from?

I had a similar issue on Steam and was able to resolve it by running the following files as administrator > RainbowSix.exe, RainbowSix_BE.exe and RainbowSix_Vulkan.exe .exe

Once you have located these files in the games installation path, try the following for each >

-Right-click on each of these files to bring up their options
-Select Properties
-Select the Compatability tab
-Select Run this program as an administrator
-Select Apply, then OK

Next try launching the game and let me know if this resolves the issue for you?

There are a few things you can do to resolve this issue, but one of the best steps first is to verify your games installation files.

Hello assassi_8, I am sorry to hear that you received an abandonment sanction for disconnecting from a ranked match after your game crashed.

Unfortunately, no Ubisoft agent has the ability to adjust MMR on your account or remove sanctions. 
What we can do is offer troubleshooting to help strengthen your connection so you do not disconnect again/as often.

At the moment cross-progression including unlocked operators is not available between PC and Xbox. Your progression is separate on each platform.

Hello everyone, thank you for your replies.

The widescreen support has been a topic that has been under investigation for some time, as new reports of this come through with each update.

To help us with our investigation, could you provide the following information, so that we can pass this onto our QA team to reproduce >

  • The size of your monitor's aspect ratio
  • The exact model of your monitor
  • A screenshot of your in-game video settings
  • A screenshot that shows black bars in PvP / A screenshot that shows black bars a PvE match

Hello z00z thank you for answering those questions. I believe changing the location of your game folder may be the cause of this issue, as the game also comes with an installer for Ubisoft Connect, so changing the location of the games files may result in it also downloading an installer.

To try and resolve this try these two steps >

  • Use the locate installed game tool, to redirect your Ubisoft Connect launcher to the new location >

Hello tadaronnela thank you for your post. Can I ask what aspect ratio are you using for your monitor? This may affect your ability to switch between, windowed, borderless windowed and full-screen modes.

Are you able to post a screenshot of your video settings into this thread? (images must be maximum 2000x2000 and under 2MB)

Are you able to share your clip to your Twitter profile or YouTube on the PS4?

Do you have those accounts linked to your PlayStation and does it give you the option, if you click the 'share' button on your controller when hoovering over your recorded clip?

Can you possibly upload a few images or video's to demonstrate exactly what this looks like for you?

Are you able to upload a video clip to a video hosting website such as Imgur or Youtube, then post a link to view it please?

Can you also show us what settings you are using for graphics in the game and what GPU driver update you are using? A new Nvidia driver update was released today, that you can try downloading to see if this fixes the issue for you.
