Can you please try speaking to Hytham in your settlement in his Bureau, then visit Randvi to see if the alliance map updates?

Can I also ask what were the last quests you completed in each region, as part of the main story?

This particular issue you are experiencing with Aelfgar spawning under the map is known to us and the development team have been made aware of this and are currently investigating this issue.

Can you remember what you did in-game or what quest you completed, before this issue started occurring?

Do you have a video clip to demonstrate what is happing exactly?

Could you post for me a picture of your in-game graphic settings, and let us know what GPU you are using and driver, CPU and ram?

Are you using any particular settings in the Nvidia or AMD control panel, that you have adjusted from the stock settings?

Are you using the official PS4 controller?

The officially supported controllers for the game on PC are >
Xbox One Controller (wired)
DualSense Controller (wired)
Dualshock 4 Controller (wired)

Sometimes if my controller is disconnected and I have used bluetooth, or another launcher with the controller, the settings in the game can change back to Keyboard and Mouse by accident, which stops me from being able to use the controller.

Could you check your settings in the game by navigating there with keyboard and mouse, then changing this to your controller if not selected?

Hello jimmywon34, thank you for your post on this glowing outline issue.

I have a few follow up questions I would like to ask you please, so that I may report this >

  • Could you please list the exact names of armour/outfits equipped this affects?
  • Does it mainly happen to a certain type of armour/outfit such as cloaks, torso armour, gauntlets?
  • If you hide your outfit in the menu, whilst equipped, does the effect dissappear?
  • If you unequip the skill  Idunn Heart skill, does this outline disappear?

Hello azhrei21, thank you for getting back in touch. As mentioned previously, stuttering with autosaves on the console is something that is being investigated.

If you are experiencing any other issues with bugs, graphical glitches or LOD and pop in asset issues, please make a new thread about whichever issue, so we can track this separately from this autosave issue.

As previously said, any video examples you can provide will be most helpful to our QA team, to try and replicate the exact same conditions when this happens.

First of all, can I ask if you are sharing the game or DLC with any other account on your console, or another console?

If not, I believe you may be able to fix this issue, by reinstalling any add-on's you may have installed if you are using them, and you can also try restoring your licences for the game by navigating on your console to >
Select Settings > Account Management > Restore Licences

Would you be able to try to try these steps then let us know what happens next, when launching the game?

Hello KamikazeSG12 thank you for getting in touch with us about this strange visual glitch.

  • Can you replicate this with any bow equipped?
  • Do you use any particular skill shot or are you just firing normal arrows into the ground?
  • If you meditate, do the arrows then disappear?


If anybody can produce a video of this and pop it in the thread, we should be able to try and replicate this exactly.

Once we receive this information, we will do our best to investigate this further for you.

I have a few steps I would like you to check, that may help resolve these crashes >
 
- Run the game as an administrator via the game's .exe file, right-click on the file, select Properties, select the Security tab, check to make sure the current PC user has Administrator privilege's for this file, as not running as Admin can sometimes cause several problems and can stop the game from being able to save > https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000060505

Hello firestorm1082 thank you for reaching out to us about this Avenge side quest that occasionally does not allow you to confirm the kill.

How long do you spend holding the button prompt down, or do you not receive a button prompt at all?

If you fast travel to your longship or a viewpoint, then return, does the Avenge quest still not allow you to interact?

We have had few reports about this issue, so the more information we can gather the better, thank you.

Hello everyone, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is it possible that the progress you made did not actually save and when you reloaded your save, your foreign supplies were returned to your inventory, even though in your previous play, you used them to increase your cargo capacity?

Can anyone provide a video showing you maximizing capacity on your Raiding Longship, which then shows it defaulting back to a previous capacity when taking part in or finishing a raid?

Are you also able to provide a video showing your customized cosmetics on the ship, for it to default after completing a raid?

Thank you for the reply wellse_01. Do you have a video you can provide for our investigation into this Dregr or can I ask you to upload your affected save file to the cloud, after travelling to that exact area?

Once you can do this, I will happily pass this save file to our QA team to investigate.

Did the game crash and close itself down, did the game display a black, blue or white screen, did your computer restart itself, or did the game completely freeze so you couldn't control anything?
 
For the crashes you are experiencing, I would recommend the following steps -
 
- Verify the game's installation files, through the game launcher, to fix any corrupt or missing files that may be causing the crashes
