Hello everyone, thank you for your question.

I can confirm the injure notification was removed and instead there will be a sound queue when you have injured players instead. This change was made at the start of the month I believe.

Thanks for the follow-up @nocz_tv, I can see the comparison well now and how the stutters occur in Siege whilst the frames drop a little too.

If you haven't done so already, I would like you to try the connectivity troubleshooting I sent you for Siege and also the port forwarding steps. We can try some other troubleshooting steps, too, I just want to rule out that this is not a server connection issue.

We are aware of one audio glitch on Xbox that can appear just before the game crashes.

With the issue that you are having, is there any way you can record a clip of this when it happens and upload it to a hosting site such as YouTube so we can hear what this audio glitch sounds like?

Can you also tell us what you are doing in-game before this happens? Or does it happen at random?

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread.

Usually, stats can be delayed for up to 48 hours while they sync with our server, but thank you for letting us know this has affected you since the last update and since the start of September.

We had a previous instance of this reported some time ago but it was since resolved. I will create a new investigation into this and provide the Siege team with your usernames so we can double-check your accounts.

Thank you for also letting us know, while the mobile app works correctly, the website and Connect app do not.

When we have an update from the team or possible solution, we will do our best to update you in the forums - thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

Hello @sibus-22 thank you for that description and what you think may be the cause.

If you can record a comparison video in a training mode with each console, upload it using the share button to either Twitter or Youtube that would be great.

Another thing that may be very helpful would be a photo or screenshot of your in game settings for the controller, showing any sensitivity options.

As ubi-orion said, this has not been reported to us with the haptic feedback controller before, the more information and evidence we can get, the better for our Siege QA ...

Hello @sbee-net thanks for getting in touch with us. The game should save the last 12 games you have played online.

I believe this could be caused by file permissions. Sometimes if you are not running certain games as an administrator, this can affect your ability to save the game. This could be the reason for your match replays not saving also.

Would you navigate to either of these locations to find your Siege game files >
Uplay - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Steam - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common​\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Hello everyone, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

There can often be a delay with item delivery, stats and challenges, from when a player completes a match, to when they actually receive this in-game or the Ubisoft Connect overlay.

Sometimes the actions you have taken in-game, can take up to 48 hours to show up. This would be the same for your stats on the Ubisoft Connect overlay.

Have any of you noticed these stats updating after a 48 hour period if you take note of the results of your matches?

Did the game launch at all after seeing this error message or were you prevented?

It seems either an issue with permissions or an issue with possible system files.

Would you be able to try the following >

1.Run all of the games .exe files as an administrator including the BattlEye .exe file.
Locate the .exe files, right-click on the files, select Properties, select the Compatability tab, select Run as administrator, select Apply then OK.

2.Make sure the BattlEye program is whitelisted as not a threat in your antivirus software and has permission to launch

How long have you noticed this bug appearing? Since beginning to play the game on PS5 altogether or since a certain update?

Are you able to capture a clip of this happening in the game with the share button, upload this to something like YouTube or Twitter, and send us the link to view this please?

What region is your console set to in the console's menu?

What version of the game do you have, is it digital or physical? If physical, does the region of the game match your store region on the console?

Sometimes what region settings you use can affect your ability to make a purchase for that particular game.

Hello trakd, sorry for any confusion.

For logging into the event and completing the challenge, you will actually earn a charm called the 'showdown pack', if you check your inventory.

You can also earn Alpha Packs whilst playing the game mode and earn up to 31 different cosmetics.

Hey @damon-yeoh thank you for the comparison pictures and noting what Operators use a stronger rim light effect than others.

We have had some player feedback from players saying they do not think the Rim light is strong enough in the game and is barely recognisable.

I pass your thoughts on this back to our Siege team and use the images you have provided me with. I won't be able to give you any updates on this myself, all I can ask is that you keep an eye on our blog and next set of patch notes.

I will happily pass on your concerns about this though, thank you very much for providing all these examples.

After the Crystal Guard update assists will now work as follows >

  • Players will now get a kill score when they down or completely eliminate an opponent.
  • Players will receive an assist score when they eliminate an opponent who was already downed by a teammate.
  • Note: The 'kill feed' will display the name of the last player to damage the opponent, whether or not they got a kill or assist.

1. Have you been able to test this with all shield carrying Operators and does the bullet spray look the same each time?

2. Can you also clarify, how do you think the bullet spray should work when firing with a pistol from different distances away from the wall?

3. Do you have a comparison clip, to show what the bullet spray from the pistol looks like from those distances, without a shield?

Thank you everyone for contributing to this thread about the new interface issues you have experienced.

To summarize, despite having all HUD and interface options enabled and set to on, you are encountering issues with >

  • Icons disappear
  • Teammates names disappear from friendly players
  • Progress bar for secure defenders disappears
  • Pings do not show
  • Chat does not appear in the chat dialogue box


As you mention this UI issue is happening quite often, is anyone able to capture a video of this happening, then quickly access your options to show all settings are enabled. This is something our Siege QA team will ask for when we report this issue, if anyone can share a clip?
