Alright so there's a lot going on in this thread with a lot of nitty gritty details for numerous different systems. I won't be able to directly address each point with all the specifics and nuance necessary so I hope this brief overview is able to help alleviate some frustrations and confusion.

1. Gear Score 500 gear should be dropping relatively often once you have reached GS 500 and are participating in Heroic difficulty level activities. This includes heroic missions, level 4 control points, heroic bounties, etc. But you need to meet both prerequisites to see the associated drops.

2. With the change to the Recalibration system, the goal should no longer necessarily be to get a god rolled version of every piece of gear. You instead should be shooting for gear with as many keep-able attributes on it, then recalibrating from other gear into that piece to turn it into a god rolled version.

Each attribute on gear has its own Recalibration ... Read more

None taken. The OP mentions any design changes made to weapons/armor and I lumped magazine size into the overarching category of balance changes. With my questions I'm just trying to drill down to what specific changes have made the biggest gameplay differences and what those differences are. Which can be uniquely different for all players as well.

Thanks for the feedback on this, everyone. To quickly follow up on a point concretebeats brought up, how have the actual ammo drops been lately? Both in terms of frequency and consistency i.e. getting them both often and reliably?

With all the recent news and updates, conversations about Specialization weapons and ammo have been harder to find for me.

Hey MetalGod, could you please be more specific, especially with regards to the enemy AI? What issues are you encountering? What is happening to impact your gameplay?

There is an exclusive arm patch for completing the Raid within the first week.

That patch is, unfortunately, bugged at the moment but it is a known issue that is being investigated.

Who knows what else is lurking down there? Not a place where I want to get caught alone, for sure.

I only have one character, so it isn't that.

I don't really want to wait until I only have 2 days left, I'll definitely miss out then.

I really hope it's not just another RNG thing. I wonder how long Massive would last if we all just rolled a 12 sided dice to decide if we buy their next product. They'd probably love that since they believe in RNG so much...

How have some of the balance changes affected your build choice and/or playstyle? What do you now have to do differently that is negatively impacting the game for you?

There are plenty of resources available with varying levels of detail on platforms like Reddit, our Discord, and other video game related publications. Be sure to send what you find you your Raid squad mates as well!

Some people use the post-mission readout information in... less than optimal ways unfortunately. Though I can assure you that your playstyle, especially while running something like True Patriot, is far more helpful than this other player gave you credit for. Keep up the good work, and I hope you come across more players who properly appreciate what you add to the team.

I don't mind the normalization as long as they come up with a better system. Just don't drop peoples stats down for the sake of normalization. There has to be a better way.
TU3 brought changes to the Normalization system, what do you find is the most impactful dampener on your experience from your gear being Normalized?

Hey My-Dads, Season Pass content has not yet released for The Division 2. As we move forward we will have more news to share about these but for now, the Title Updates, and Dark Hours Raid are more openly available.

Additionally, I believe Xbox players took a total of 17 hours to get platform first.

How do you feel the rewards/gear received from a Raid of this difficulty should compare to other activities within the game?

Glad this all got sorted out. Don't hesitate to ask if any more questions come up!

No melee attack should take away all of your armor or instantly drop you. Again, these mechanics are cheap and need to be reworked.
NPC Melee damage was decreased across the board with TU3.

Greatly decreased melee damage of all Tank NPCs.
Moderately decreased melee damage of all non-Tank NPCs....

And recalibrating is now far better.

Did I miss anything ? Or is it pretty much a load of stuff that most people don't have access to ? Why alienate single players like this ?

While I'm sorry to hear this happening to you, I would sincerely hope that this is an edge case and that the majority of players are not doing this (or if they are it is unintentional). That said, I will be sure to stay on the lookout for other players reporting the same behavior occurring for them as well.

Thank you for the feedback. During the Raid, what were the moments/challenges that you found were the most difficult to overcome?

Hey TrainHeartnet, we have been regularly releasing patches to address various crash-causers. Can you please provide any additional information regarding what type of crash you are getting, where/when they are occurring, and your system specs?
