Based on what I've seen from the forums you aren't alone on this. There are definitely some players who feel the game is too easy at the moment, especially in light of the nerfs from the patch. However, there are also some who say it is too difficult. While the patch did indeed reduce some damage and health amounts, one thing I think has been overlooked is the widening of enem variety on harder difficulty settings.

Difficulty and challenge more often can come from the enemy composition rather than their health/damage/armor/etc. numbers. Well, at least the more interesting difficulty. For example, I think most people might find a fight with 3 Grenadier enemies more interesting and difficult than 1 Grenadier enemy with 3x health and 3x damage output (it's a guess, but I'd like to think an educated one.)

As we go further into the new patch and eventually have the raid, I'll be curious to see how the enemy NPC changes feel to everyone. In the meantime, what c... Read more

Control Points give a limited pool of blueprints. As in, you can only get so many blueprints from completing Control Points. Once you have reached that limit, you'll have to get Blueprints from another source. Think of it as a potential pool running dry.

Edit: Thank you to the other posters who shared the answer behind this before I did!

Hey DireNazgul. Quickly make sure Uplay is up to date and restart your game. If you continue to have these crashes, please reach out to Ubisoft Support and they'll do their best to help you find a solution.

Thanks everyone for the fast responses to this. Some of the Recalibration changes are definitely a lot on an initial reading.

I'll leave a link to the patch notes here just in case it comes up or the... Read more

With some of the talent changes, and mission changes, the NPC tweaks are a little bit more nuanced. Reducing the efficacy of some of the most popular builds meant that the content that would have been too easy for them also needed to be brought down in order to help keep everything in line.

Additionally, difficulty goes far beyond small bumps and cuts to some numbers. I personally find the wider variety of enemy types on harder difficulties to be far more interesting and engaging than just bumping up some numbers.

I'll be curious to see how thoughts and feeling on the patch shift and morph as the changes become more ingrained.

I'll be closing this thread as it has almost immediately turned into flaming back and forth.

As a reminder, on the forums you are expected to respect the opinions and experiences of your fellow posters. Mocking, berating, or degrading someone for how they engage with the game takes away from the thread and the conversation as a whole. Please treat your fellow players with the same maturity and decorum that you would hope they would treat you with. Thank you.

I remember that before the feature was implemented there was talk back and forth about the pros and cons of having such information in the game.

There definitely are some consequences that can cause legitimate concern from having a mission readout view-able by the whole squad. There are also several merits to having that information available.

I know that for me personally I have had situations where another player has seen my output via a similar readout and gave quite friendly advice on how I might be able to improve my setup. But most times, carry or carried, it seldom comes up at all for me.

In what ways could the post mission readout perhaps be improved to give more nuanced information, rather than removing data from in entirely?

Glad to hear it's treating you well. Have you had the chance to use the other exotics?

When discussing changes from the recent patch, particularly things that you feel do or do not work, specifics are extremely helpful. If changes to a particular talent or NPC traits are the subject of your thoughts and observations, please be sure to make that clear. It helps with both keeping the conversation coherent, and also with our collection of feedback from these forums. Thank you!

On that note, thank you for the detailed feedback, everyone. I appreciate the mixed thoughts and feelings on display here.

Regarding Gear score 500, there have been several improvements to the system.

Dark Zone contaminated loot does not drop below player's average Gear Score and will guarantee Gear Score 500 when the player has reached 500 Gear Score.

Heroic difficulty Mission bosses, Stronghold bosses, Bounty bosses and Heroic Control Points reward containers will guarantee Gear Score 500 when the player has reached 500 Gear Score.

Loot now skews more towards the top end of its allowed Gear Score, r...

A reminder that bumping threads or spamming them with empty comments for the express purpose of sending them to the top of the thread list is against forum rules.

As for the OP and the thread itself, how has the update made you guys reexamine your builds? Have they been relatively untouched or has this caused a major shake up for your playstyle?

Hey ogamega, thank you for letting us know about this. Could you possibly share a screenshot of the description for the talent? Thank you!

There have been some changes to passive and active talents that might translate into lower damage output. But I appreciate the feedback regarding NPC encounters, thank you for sharing!

After seeing the edit to the OP and reading through the rest of the thread... Can I ask for everyone thoughts and new hands-on experience with some of the post-update exotics? How do they feel to use now as opposed to beforehand?

Closing this thread as there is another thread talking about he same topic. Please avoid making clone threads as it makes the general conversation harder to consolidate and follow.

The weekly projects in particular may not always be quick to complete. Having them easily doable in a day qualifies them more as daily projects. How much time do you each feel should be necessary to complete a project that resets once a week? Or a daily for that matter?

It's just RNG being RNG unfortunately. I wish you all the best of luck though!

Glad this all got sorted! Gotta be mindful of those Specialization bonuses that change gameplay instead of just improve the character.
