I appreciate the mixed feedback in here everyone. I know having the "World's First" immortalizing photo is a unique award (at least not one that I've ever seen before)... But please keep in mind that it is an award. The players that achieved the prize went through the effort to earn it, and that should be reason enough for them to get this particular reward.

I can always appreciate some in-game science. One thing I'd want to know though is what you want/expect to be able to do as a pure tank build. What's a situation that you feel should test the limitations of pure tanks?

Sounds like you're being watched... Spooky stuff.

It was definitely a jump from the faster, almost abrupt pace of The Division to The Division 2. Like Neo_Wildcard mentions, it takes a shift of mindset. One piece of major advice I shared quite a bit in the early days of the beta and release was to try and forget some of what you've learned from other 3rd person cover shooters. TD2 is like them without being LIKE them. It's a different system that demands to be addressed as such.

I'm confident though that if you could learn, adapt, and overcome the challenges of The Division, that you can do the same with the sequel. It might just take a concerted effort, some friendly hints, and far less friendly mistakes along the way.

Thanks for the PSA, JHemp. I'll be sure to give this a try. Can't tell you how many upgrades I think I've deconstructed, sold, or donated on accident.

I appreciate the wide breadth of feedback here, everyone. There are a lot of thoughts and observations floating around now that the Raid has dropped, and it's insightful to see how you all feel about it.

MutantCowboy brings up some particularly important points that I've been curious about. For those who have attempted (or completed) the Raid, when do you feel it tested your ability to communicate the most? When did it test your gameplay the most?

Edit: Fixed a typo

Glad to hear you enjoyed the feature, XahRith (and even more glad it helped you out in a pinch.) How close of a call was it?

As for the post overall though, thank you very much for the robust feedback and your take on the state of the game right now. If I may, there is one phrase you used that I would really appreciate if you could explain more of what you meant.

Well..you hit Tier 5 ................................you get gear 500 score.
you play a mission in Hard...........you get gear 500 score.
you play a mission in challenge...you get gear 500 score.
you play a mission in Heroic........you get gear 500 score.
Really ?..Why can you get better gear when you play missions in harder mode..Do you think that the creds and the xp you give as a reward will make the difference ?
I don't think so..A lot of people left the game already, I even noticed that in my clan. (from 50 members we barely have 3-4 online).
Seems a lot of...

Tried searching for information online, with no luck. We keep getting that we have left the group and fast traveled to the white house.

It's been really interesting to see talk about the exotic weapons get revitalized in the wake of the update. Keep it up, everyone, and thank you for the feedback!

I purchased the game, I don't think it's too selfish to ask for a mission, stronghold, or some other alternative activity that would allow players the opportunity to explore the environment. Hey Monty, welcome to the forums! This is a really cool suggestion that I actually haven't seen offered up so far. Though something to keep in mind is that while the Raid, fo... Read more

Hey everyone. Along the lines of what others in this thread have mentioned, as game knowledge disseminates around the raid and more players get more adjusted to the recent TU3 update and better gear to boot, the Raid will start to become more easily beaten for all players. By its nature as the most difficult content available, there is going to be some time where completion of the Raid may be somewhat gated. But this will almost certainly not always be the case.

Ultimately I would like to caution patience. The game will evolve as it moves forward, and not beating the raid on release may not necessarily mean it can never be beaten.

Additionally, a reminder that berating, belittling, or mocking other posters for their playstyle/gameplay experience is not only destructive to the conversation, but is also against forum rules. Please treat your fellow players with the same respectfulness and decorum that you would want in return. Thank you. ...

Hi tommy, if there is something you're not interested in doing within the game, the choice is yours however, it won't be excluded entirely. Seems that this exotic is a one-off drop which brings up another chance to talk about the different methods of exotics in The Division 2. How does getting that lucky drop that you may/may not get compare to the slower boil of getting exotic components from more consistently repeatable activities?
