Would love a post-mortem on this. They seem to be quite common in the tech industry, not sure why they aren't in gaming. Did a server go down? Was there a typo in a config file? Did Xur break the boundaries of the game and escape into reality?
I don't believe we'll ever break down the complexities of our servers/networking and how things can go sideways, but we always love opportunities to explain issues when we can.
Now, I could make a joke about spilling tea on the servers and DeeJ taking an ax to them in an attempt to help, but making light of a service interruption is never a good play.
