Well, I did not expect to be writing this!

Unturned II

I have made some progress since the last post, for example adding the ability to switch between one-handed and two-handed weapon stances, but I will save those details for the next devlog. Almost all of my time this past month has been spent on the "Potential UI Rewrite" for Unturned mentioned in the "In-between Devlogs #040-041" post.

Since this has resulted in spending two months on Unturned rather than Unturned II, my plan is to commit as much of November and December to Unturned II as possible, and hopefully finish one of the "exciting" features like open-world enemies by the end of the year.

Glazier

A "glazier" is a tradesperson who does glasswork. I decided this was a good name for the Unturned UI refactor, as the system would need to learn a new technique: uGUI

You could also just browse your full list of mods, either from Steam or from in-game, and probably have narrowed it down that way too.

Building on top of a tree stump will stop the tree from regrowing, unless the server config is set to overwrite this functionality.

It seems that you're looking at modded maps, of which you have none installed. Either install the custom map you wanted to play on, or play on an official or curated map instead.

Manually launch Unturned.exe (not Unturned_BE.exe) from the game folder (not a shortcut, and not through Steam).

If you don't know where the game folder is, you can navigate to it through your Steam Library. Right-click the game, hover over Manage, and select "Browse local files".

You're probably trying to run the game with BattlEye, which doesn't exist in Unturned Classic. Run the game without BattlEye.

Set Items_Obstruct_Tree_Respawns to false in your Config.json, for the difficulty your map is set on (e.g., under the Normal difficulty settings section).

Having it set to true will let players obstruct trees to keep them from regrowing. This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but being able to remove the actual tree stumps is not planned for U3. As someone else commented, players can harvest tree stumps in Unturned II.

Trees won't regrow if built on, unless the server owners toggle otherwise.

Only admins/owner can uss cheats, unless you're including LDM permissions. Cheats Enabled on applies to admin toolkit, fullstop; normal users cannot use cheats.

Update on what I have been working on for Unturned 3.x and Unturned II.

I have ended up working on Unturned 3.x more than expected these past few weeks. There has been some nice progress on Unturned II as well nevertheless.

Transport Layer Rewrite

Rewriting this aspect of the netcode has been on my to-do list for a long time, and was the main task I mentioned in the previous devlog. In a case of bizarre timing Valve actually deprecated the old V1 Steam Networking the same day I began working on the new V2 Steam Networking! The changes are essentially ready to go now, and we just need a fix from the current Steam client beta.

The red cross on a white background is a trademark protected by the Geneva Convention, and is a symbol of the Red Cross. A generic red cross, on some other or no other background element, is not trademarked. There are some other symbols on a white background that are trademarked too, such as the Red Crescent symbol.

The Red Cross is not a medical organization—this is a common misconception because of certain aspects of the Red Cross, in addition to how the trademark is often violated and the symbol is mistakenly used by unaffiliated medical organizations—but rather an international humanitarian organization.

Your post is rather vague, as it doesn't actually describe how you setup your server.

Did you follow the official docs? What's your Commands.dat look like? Did you set your Server.bat to be a +LanServer instead of an +InternetServer? Etc.
