when I read "only top players are meant to get the last rewards", to me it reads "your 10€ will only be worth this much and you'll have to choose if you want to be a sucker for 3€ per level" because I can't magically make time appear while working all day, and Valorant isn't the only game I'd like to play if only to not burn out.

when I see the math on Reddit exceeding what I could put in in any realistic scenario, my first and only reaction is to ask for a refund and never buy it again.

I should be clear here: When I say a "top percentage of players," I don't mean some crazy high, 98th percentile thing. If we find that NOT ENOUGH folks are completing it, that's a problem, too!

We definitely expect that some folks won't complete it, but that's super normal. Not everyone buys the pass with the intention of completing it. They just think, "If I play the amount I normally play, I'll get back enough stuff to make it worth the $10 I spent on it." I'm one of those people lol. So when I say "top %," it includes those folks too. I hope that makes sense!

I believe if we’re paying cash for a battle pass, it’s reasonable to expect that you can comfortably get it in the given time. 20 hours of gameplay a week seems like a rediculous commitment to have to make AFTER investing cash into the pass.

I mentioned this in a previous response, but I’ve paid for battle passes in other games and the first time I can’t complete the pass, I lose interest in all future passes. If I can reasonably acquire all the content I paid for then it’s a waste of money. Maybe Ive just been very fortunate in the games that I’ve played with battlepasses and I’m spoiled to expect that I can acquire content I’ve paid for.

Hey there! I can't speak to any concrete plans we have (or haven't) made, but I can say for sure that we're aware of this, and we're working on an alternative for our non-evolving-skin players :). There's a long list of things we want to change and polish, but if we ever wanted to get our game out the door, we couldn't have addressed all those things before launch. This BP Radianite issue is one of them. The good news is, our game is live, meaning we aren't stuck with all these issues! And this is up there on our list of things we want to :) Thanks for asking!

I think that makes sense...if you've got the completionist mindset, it can be super frustrating to feel like the final tier is out of reach. But it definitely shouldn't be 20 hours a week! It should be much closer to 10. (~100 hours over ~2 months, according to SWAGGERNAU7 and Milkcow). I'm curious...does the Battle Pass only feel worth it if you're able to complete it?

If I wasn't on reddit, I wouldn't even know this game had a battlepass. Even after reading this thread, it took a minute pressing everything in the main menu before I found it. If not enough people are buying the pass, this could be a contributor. I appreciate that the menus in this game are clean and not full of advertisement, but the battle pass could use some love.

Retroactive reward granting is for earned battlepass & contract content, not missions I'm afraid.

What is your monitor setup? You said two monitors - what is their native resolution? What resolution are they set to in Windows/Nvidia/AMD control? Can you add screenshots of your display settings?

Are you never able to swap to fullscreen, or are you required to swap around to different window resolutions as shown in the video first?

Are you using DSR?

If you see the launcher validating files after a crash it means the game detected corrupted files when trying to load game content. It should self-repair but if you see it more than once there may be an issue with your RAM or disk.

Oooooh this is a great find will bring back to the team! My guess is that the spawn point of the drone snaps to the closest eligible location, which in this particular spot is through the ceiling there. Thanks for the report! Definitely not working as intended!

We’re still working on it. I can’t give you an exact ETA I’m afraid. As of this morning we feel good about the core code of the fix, next we need to finish the validation code, deploy it, then get the list of all affected players, apply the fix, then deploy the fixes to the different environments around the world.

So it’s definitely not going to be 1 hour, but I’m hopeful it’s less than 24 hours.

I’m just a producer & not one of the smart people working on the fix, but our approach actually seems pretty similar at a high level to what you’re suggesting. It’s just that when you’re dealing with this number of players & this amount of data things can become complicated.

When the team is deciding how to action your high level steps, they need to factor in all of the systems and account for ways it could go wrong so that the fix works cleanly and doesn’t have unintended consequences (for example, what would happen if you finished a game and earned a bunch of content half way through us running the fix program? Would it end up getting your account into a more complicated state or would everything be fine?)

You should just get them when we apply the fix. If you see the fix is live and you have played a game after it’s live (this step might be needed to trigger some things), but you still don’t have your stuff I would make a ticket then. Before then, there’s no need as the fix will come either way.

I’m sorry I can’t give you an exact timeline till we’re confident it’s fixed. This is complicated, but it’s our top priority. FWIW it took most of the night & a morning to fix the forward facing progress, but back granting has a few more steps & systems involved
