Could there also be a way to know how to obtain the skins? I.e, some text in the corner saying shop, battlepass, contract, etc?

Also working on it!

It definitely has somewhat impacted it, I was getting 290-350 FPS yesterday and now I’m barely hitting 250.

And I’m not sure if you have any say in map rotations, but I have played ascent 8 times in a row now, and I’m starting to get sick of the map. I know y’all want us to play it and get used to it, but after 3 in a row, could you potentially make it so we won’t get that map again?

Edit: just for more info

My specs are

Vega 56

I5 8600k (5.0ghz)

16gb 3200 ram

2tb ssd (it’s not the fastest ssd, but it’s samsung q or something like that)

I’m gonna restart my pc rn and I’ll update this again if it fixes

Edit: so the issue might be vanguard actually. I’m seeing it taking up around 30% cpu in task manager and dropping valorant down to 65%.

I still have lower fps after the restart

Thanks for the details (and I saw the edits).

Edited because phone grammar is clearly not good 0_o: We know and we are trying to fix it...our challenge is that we haven't been able to reproduce it, and as a result an attempted fix is a guess that could introduce lots of worse problems for uncertain gain. It's not because we don't want to fix it, we absolutely do. We just aren't sure what the right way is to fix it yet. If by chance you've found a way to reproduce it consistently and have video that would be INCREDIBLY helpful!

Not sure if this helps at all, but I'd also experienced collision issues (bug report with videos) with that floor.

These vids are super helpful, thanks!

One question, What were the updates changing?, I dont see any mini patch notes so is it just bug fixes?

It had a couple of targeted bug fixes. We don't think those changes should have impacted performance, but we're looking into it.

The Home screen will include patch notes and other news in a near-future update.

Correct.

If you are talking about showing players what they get in terms of XP beforehand - yeah, it's a good idea, but I wasn't even thinking about it.

My suggestion is to give at least some XP for custom matches. So that players, who focus on tournaments/pugs/scrims (thus spend most of their time playing custom games), have a chance to earn rewards too. XP might come at slower rates and there should probably be some requirements like a minimum length of a match (so that people don't use customs to farm rewards), but it's still better than nothing.

Oh! This reminds me to add a question in my survey about player satisfaction with HOW they acquire XP (not just the rate of it). Thank you so much for the thoughtful addition!

Can you change your GameUserSettings file in a couple of places for me? There are two to check: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\VALORANT\Saved\Config\WindowsClient - GameUserSettings and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\VALORANT\Saved\Config(some long string of letters and numbers)

With the game closed, go to both of those files, and change these two lines:

ResolutionSizeX=1920

ResolutionSizeY=1080

LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=1920

LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1080

Your current one is X= 30000000 and Y=0

I have no clue how you ended up with your settings in that state, but it seems suspicious.

Since release I have never been able to swap to fullscreen, it just shows a massively stretched screen if i try that I cannot see anything with as seen in the video.

Here's a screenshot of my GameUserSettings when I take it off of read only and launch Valorant.

I have to put the GameUserSettings file on read only if I want to launch the game in fullscreen windowed, but even if I change the resolution to 1920x1080 in the config file and launch it on read only the resolution STILL switches to that awful stretched one.

I don't believe I am using DSR but i'm not sure how I would check that.

Hey there! Just wanted to point out that I included an edit in there :)

EDIT: I should be clear here: When I say a "top percentage of players," I don't mean some crazy high, 98th percentile thing. If we find that NOT ENOUGH folks are completing it, that's a problem, too!
