Just a little bit about me as a person. Some background on my style/intentions:

My first job was at a Movie Theater. I joined because I thought Concessions were slow and I could help. I didn't work for the money. I worked because I wanted to help.

I worked unpaid in the Concession Stand at my High School after school to raise money for Band. Same deal, just wanted to help.

My first LARP I was a Blacksmith/Merchant. Didn't care about money, I just wanted to help get people what they were looking for.

My first Alliance in EVE, I took on leadership roles when we were under siege so I could help corpmates that didn't know what to do.

In World of Warships, I created a channel to teach CV and showed up every day for 6 months.

I made nearly 200 Lessons Videos

I recorded hundreds of hours of instruction through gameplay

So I'm seeing a number of folks here commenting that having Superships in Clan Battles is a sign of "greed" or even "avarice" because it requires people to spend credits on a powerful ship that didn't exist before to stay competitive.

Credits are the easiest resource in the game to acquire. You can earn them quickly by playing mid-tiers or premium ships and credit boosting flags are plentiful. You can sell any extra camos / signals / upgrades / modules / ships that are laying around not being useful for credits. Of all the resources to choose when trying to make a "cash-grab", credits has got to be the worst choice.

There is no "false data" in saying why Ranked and Clan Battles are treated differently.

CVs are in Ranked because we have CV mains that play the class and want to participate in the Ranked experience. Ranked is more casual than Clan Battles, so allowing people to bring their ship of choice is an easier decision than dictating rules in a Clan Battle season.

As for Clan Battles, we made a conscious decision to not include CVs in Clan Battles because CVs alter the game experience by adding the additional dynamics that CV bring (spotting and off-angle attacks). Our decision was to allow there to be non-CV seasons so that surface ship players could have non-CV deployment/ship options. CVs will return to later Clan Battle seasons, so we'll have that dynamic available during those seasons.

CVs are not expected to be in every season due to the change in how matches play.

There is certainly an argument wher...

The matchmaker is not trying actively to keep you near the 50/50 mark.

The matchmaker looks only at ship class, ship type, divisions, and tier. It doesn't care about your winrate, it doesn't care about your ELO rating from a third-party site, and it doesn't care about which ships you consider to be overpowered. It attempts to match a division of 3 against another division of 3 regardless of skill-level. If there are 6 Des Moines in a match it will attempt to split them evenly.

"Steamrolls" are not a factor of the matchmaker.

We do have plans to restart our offline events, but I cannot give you a timeline for when that would happen as we are juggling an enormous amount right now.

I can say that we are hoping to have offline events restart within the 2022 year, but I cannot promise that so don't hold me to it

Thank you for asking!

Howdy, Folks!
I had myself a Hipper game that came right down to the wire and left me with a 6-kill loss. Only 107k due to the number of DD's in the match, but still was a spicy game.
Share with me some screenshots of your 'most impressive" losses! *Please be careful not to post the stats or results of other players. No need to shame anyone.

Hi, Asym
I don't have data about opinions on Epicenter on-hand. It was a game-mode that we had learned over time was something people disliked, sort of the the way that Ocean is the least favorite map. We began looking for a new game-mode that people did like to replace it and decided on Arms Race.

I see a lot of people equating this "popularity" thing to subs and CV's. Please try to keep in mind that what you see here in the forums is only 1 section of the feedback that we receive. While it may seem, even correctly, that the forums are overwhelmingly against submarines, this is not the case across other areas.

I've noticed that the Forums like to try and draw a straight-line from nearly every action we take back to a revenue motivation. Try and remember that there are things done for monetization and things done to give people more options on how to play the game. The fundamental core of the game is loading a ship into battle and pro...

I'm confused.
What is "the minimum 5 battles per ship" you're talking about?

Missions are completely optional. You can choose whatever path to fun that you want in our game

Epicenter was an unpopular game mode, unfortunately, so the decision was made to replace it with a separate style of play for randoms.

Probably you once had a WGC installed. If you are not using it, then make sure that it is removed completely, as well as all its components are removed. For example, check that the directory "C:\ProgramData\Wargaming.net\GameCenter" is deleted.
