The video is literally about understanding the mechanics of the strike and working to negate it.
The challenge in each of the videos was the cap all three capture points without using smoke. To do that I need to avoid being struck/reset. I was able to succeed in each video and describe what I'm doing while I'm doing it.
German ships that have a Secondary focus tend to lack on performance of the Main Guns to avoid being overwhelming. The Schlieffen line is the first line where this was not the case, but that is due to the reduced armor and health of the line.
This concern was brought up a few months ago after the Bot CV AI was made better. I did a video series on 4 of the Tier 8 CVs to talk about how the Rocket Plane mechanics work and how you can play in response.
This is the first video. I did learn a bit during the course of the first video, so later videos are much faster to point out mechanics and options when dealing with Bot CVs.
This might be an explanation. I'm certainly surprised to see 7 Base XP while being in the center of the map.
She's not as accurate as she once was, but I love her flexibility through speed. MvR is one of my favorite CVs, too.

It would be worth posting the Replay. I do think players get Base XP just for moving around, so the idea that a player was only able to receive 7 Base XP after playing and participating in a match is bizarre enough to check over.
The time of the disconnect/afk is factored in, though it does look like there was a solid 10+ minutes of play in the beginning of the game. That would be over 50% of the match, so that does seem quite sizable.
The thought about not dealing any damage after returning to the match could bear looking into.
I'll kick this up the chain and let you know what I hear back.
