As some others here have already commented, we will not be adding more (gameplay) content to Anno 1800, especially not full regions (which are A LOT of effort) as we're basically "done" with the game.

However, there is the "New Horizons" mod in the making which we're also very excited to see more of. Last post by Taubenangriff was this one here, I believe: https://www.reddit.com/r/anno/comments/10qbx9w/upcoming\_mod\_new\_horizons\_the\_gongren/

For a number of hours today, almost nothing was playable on Ubisoft Connect, whether online or offline, including Anno.

See, I missed that cause I was sleeping. I feel like the times that Anno is impacted are very rare, but still sorry (there, now I said it) that some of you had troubles with playing 1800 earlier today. Hope it's all back to normal now for everyone.

Not quite sure what you're referencing here?

Either way, Anno 1800 is playable offline, you may have to set Ubisoft Connect into offline mode for that, though.

Cant u guys just down grade the main DLCs at least so that they are viable to run on PS5 in stead of lack luster Cosmetics.

Honestly if we can’t have the entire game on console then what was the point other than another cash cow for u guys.

From some players we get accused of milking the game for releasing DLC, and from others we get accused of doing so by not releasing DLC - you see, it's a bit of a weird situation to be in ;)

As this is the first time an Anno mainline game is available on consoles, we had two topics specifically that we wanted to answer: can we do it from a technical perspective and does it work from a gameplay/UX/fun perspective? So, bringing Anno 1800 to consoles (for a team that worked exclusively on PC titles so far) was also an experiment of sorts. If we had wanted to do a quick cash grab, we could have achieved this with much less effort, time and money invested in the project.

Of course, if you like cosmetic DLC with additional ornaments or skins is a very individual thing - some love it, some couldn't care less. But I wouldn't call em "lackluster", since we can see that they have been very well received over the last years.

Bringing more content to consoles is not a...

We're certainly planning to address reported issues for the Console Edition of Anno 1800, a patch is planned for May and we'll soon have news on that.

There are also still 4 Cosmetic DLC releasing on console. Right now, there are no plans for more content releases.

Nice to see the developers finally giving him credit where due.

There were some communication issues that led to this initial confusion, but we have since sorted these out and got meow's blessing - and we're very happy about that :)

I feel bad for having to say "no" every time someone brings up the map editor topic but: No. We ourselves are using a mix of different tools to design, create and populate our maps (and some of them are licensed software, not tools developed by us) - there isn't that one editor that already exists and can just be made public.

We're aware this is a subject dear to the hearts to several of you, but the efforts to potentially create something like that are unfortunately too high, when we need our resources for other things.

Thanks for reporting this, we'll have a look at what's causing that :)
