It's not the game, as we don't have such a feature ;) (and Ubisoft Connect doesn't, either)

Aside from streaming software, maybe it's something from your graphics drivers?

No music player, sorry, I can already say that much. Both from an effort point of view as well as due to technical limitations. We still like the idea, though, maybe something for a future project.

Good note on the "confusingly named" bit, by the way, we'll try to get that changed for the update.

Hey all, many cool suggestions/wishes - some very specific to certain playstyles or situations, others with more general impact.

From what I've seen when scrolling through this thread, some points we already have on our list for the upcoming update, but there are also others where we can already and definitively say "no" to, for different reasons: Some would have a significant impact on performance (i.e. technical impact), others would require reworks or changes of systems that we don't want to touch anymore this late in development (i.e. effort and risk) and others are simply requiring too much effort (i.e. work hours) or at least too much effort for what we perceive as little gain or very specialized requests.

One can always do more of course: More production chains, more regions, more QoL features etc. etc. since both you and us have always more ideas. And that's great, it shows that it's almost impossible to do a perfect game even after already a lot to it - and...

No, I'm not old ='( I only just crossed a milestone earlier this month.

EDIT: Also slightly concerning I signed up via the link. It didn't ask for my 2FA at all throughout the login process. Could then navigate to my account info and change it freely from there. Might be something to suggest to the team that handles account security.

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll forward it to the responsible team!

The street topic is an old discussion, I suppose - practicality vs. visuals. We'll certainly also discuss this topic again for our next project (as we have done also for Anno 1800) but there are also good reasons for keeping this system. We'll see.

On the other two topics: Both Crown Falls (Sunken Treasure) and Manola (New World Rising) offer significantly more building space than your average island, if this is something you prefer. However, ultimately, islands and the logistics tying everything together, are a core part of the Anno games and we don't think that getting rid of this would be a good idea. There might be smaller islands, there might be bigger ones, but having only one large landmass to build on is, in our eyes, not compatible with the "Anno DNA".

Gotta love pretty waves, glad you got them now, too :P
