The release time frames can differ from year to year, yes. This year we have a Spring + late Summe + end of year as release time frames, as communicated in early 2022.

We started a bit later this year (April 12th), which means and the following DLC also release later than e.g. last year :)

I like that you listen to what we say, Taka <3

I hope you're not, in fact, blue in the face!

I double-checked and can confirm that at least right now, I'm not

There are a two scenarios:
if you activate the DLC in an existing savegame, the map will be expanded and in this new area, the new islands will be placed.

if you start a new game with the DLC, the map will be the larger size from the beginning. The new islands are added to the overall New World map pool and therefore placed randomly together with the old islands.

I had no idea this "add up to 9" thing was a thing. Do you know the reason behind this?

It's just an in-joke we've continued after the first two games, no deeper reason to that number.

Probably everyone had that in mind, even in the contest Anno community manager organized in discord like 5 out of top 10 entries were "Anno 9". Its literally the most unoriginal idea now and honestly i hope they dont do it :D

Just a small note: That really cool contest was completely organized by the admin and mod team of the Annoverse Discord server - no involvement from us.

So, I found the issue.

The Pastry Chef (-50% bakery maintenance cost) does not allow the citizens to eat bread when used in the Union.

Buggy McBugFace

I've quickly tested this on my own save and can't reproduce this. Equipping this item has no effect on the population.

If unequipping the item really does solve the problem for you, I'd ask you to get in touch with support, ideally with a video showing the issue and your savegame for further investigation.

Hey HarryBotterly,
there are right now no plans to integrate FSR 2.0 support for Anno 1800 due to technical constraints.

Hey ysbrad81, thank you for your question!
We are indeed looking into this topic for later this year. While I can't promise it yet, there is a chance the tooltip delay option might make a comeback for Anno 1800.

Hey there!

On the scale topic: You may notice a few things like that in the game. That's usually not an oversight, though, but intended: We have to make sure that everything is well-visible from your standard "eagle- view". That sometimes means changing the scale of objects, but also creating very distinctively different looking buildings - if we wanted to be authentic here, many of the factories would look the same and probably had roofs over everything.

You have a good point on the type of feedback units, though. It might be that we left out a generation, visually.
However, at this point we're not really planning to add more feedback units to the game except when they're needed for a new feature, for example. It's a good suggestion for the future, though, to diversify the pool of feedback units.
