Please push it out tomorrow, i can't take this shit anymore, I froze for 120+ games out of 260 games in season 3.
We're working on it and hoping for tomorrow, but we can't rush the update at the risk of introducing new issues. The "fix" isn't the kind where you find an obvious bug, change a few variables, and it works. This particular bug involves timing issues in the job/thread queue getting hung up, which is an extremely low level system; any changes to it need to be carefully vetted and tested across as many hardware configurations as possible, which takes time. Ideally we would have a way for players to opt-in to "beta" builds for fixes like this (like Steam has), but unfortunately we don't have that capability at present. I know none of this information helps you or anyone experiencing the issue to crash less, but I do hope the added context and clarity reduces your frustration with how long it's taking.
just got the update....i reallyyyyyyyyy hope it fixes it..i love this game but crashing every 2 games...fingers crossed..here goes :D

You are looking into that one and...? You are going to fix it? Because its really annoying to crash on every 5th game. Not only for myself, also for the two other players on my team.

/u/Scriptacus Unfortunately this didn't work. I've had 2 total lockups since. Interestingly, one of my friends running a 8700k had exactly the same issue last night too

You have to be aware that its not 9700k like this thread suggets, it crashes on multiple AMD same way, there's alot of replies here: 3700x, 3800x, 3900x.
If you can, please try running the game with "-maxthreads 3" and report back if that solves or improves the issue.
Jumping in here too. 9700k not overclocked. Game just locks up and freezes the pc. Only a hard reset fixes it

Hey theres another issue I ran into
I dropped into train yard and went on this platform here and got stuck
I went into the centre of that tower with the little platform around it and got stuck. Wasnt able to get out at all and could barely move. I died because of the countdown and my death box was up there, this was about mid game.

Don’t normally comment on this subreddit (but always lurking and appreciating) but I feel the need to let you know this happened to me yesterday: I was looting some buildings west of Lava Fissure and the circle was all the way southeast at Lava City, and as soon as the storm started closing for Round 1, it appeared instantly on top of me and then some. Could you look into this? Thanks!
