Hello everyone!

The first Barotrauma update of 2021 is almost here – we’re hoping to release it in less than two weeks. It’s going to be a fairly small update that focuses on fixes, a few content additions and a handful of important improvements. Hi everyone! This thread feels quite heated, so we're going to lock it to avoid any unnecessary unpleasantness on the forums. While everyone is free to express an opinion, please always be kind to others even if you disagree with them! Similarly, a post that is politely written is much nicer to read, for us and other players alike :)

As for the question itself, instead of rolling back any previous changes, we're continuing to work on streamlining inventory management with item stacking. We're going to write more about that on our blog in just a couple of days, but it will sadly be only in English, most likely. Here's a sneak peek about item stacking:

Hi! You shouldn't need to make tweaks in the console because of this, at least not for much longer – we've made changes for the next update that should help with spineling-related lag spikes specifically. If you're still encountering the issue after the update (early February), please write back to let us know!

Ah, I see! That shouldn't matter too much, unless you're using mods that override the same content. For example, if you had installed "Trick or Trauma", which replaces plasma cutters with chainsaws, and another mod that replaces those same plasma cutters with, let's say, an axe, then the mod that's lower on the list would override the previous one. So it could depend on whether you wanted axes or chainsaws.
