Heya Adrik,

It looks like some of the requirements are hidden. You are required to have 4 powerful vassals with at least 60 opinion of you.
I've sent the issue over to the team so we can have it fixed.

Thank you!

That's the first report I've seen on that! Please report the false positive to 360.

Thank you!

I guess it would be the 1.5 patch, rather than the RC expansion, that did that.

If you are sure you have the syntax right, you'll need to report that as a bug - there's nothing we here in tech support can do to fix that.

I'm not sure what new feature you mean, sorry?

The exceptions log info is entirely in the Apple video driver for your AMD graphics system. Which is odd because your driver is up to date and your hardware is supported.

Does it also happen in windowed display mode? What if you reduce video quality settings?

Are you still on the 1.4.4 patch? If so you need to disable Royal Court before it will run, as RC requires 1.5 .

Possibly a gamepass issue then.

If you make a new Window suser on this machine and log into it as that, does this happen there too?

Please don't re-open old threads on old game version; start a new one or add to a new one on the same problem. Thanks.

DinoAo said: Is this a false alarm from the antivirus software?
It is, yes. Are you on Avast or AVG perhaps?

I see, so it is something inside this laptop. If it's really not the Linux firewall in it, I'm not sure what else it could be!

If you make a new Linux user on it and login as that, do you get the same problem?

So far as I know that is not planned, at present at least. Generally that does not happen for pre-order bonuses, at least not for years.

Please lodge a support ticket at paradox.zendesk.com and we'll get you fixed up.

Heya wonderrcat!
I have sent this issue over to the development team, but it would definetly be more helpful if we had something more to go on, as we can't replicate this issue ourselves.

Would you mind submitting any logs you might have in your "Documents/Crusader Kings III/Logs" folder?

Rnewsom19, did you manage to find a solution to your issue?

Please try this:

- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users//AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

- exit the Steam app entirely
- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user

- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam

IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-CK3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

**File Locations on Mac OS X**
The executable and DLC folder are in Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Crusader Kings III/
To see it go to the Finder, hit command-shift-G (ie Go To) and type in ~/Library/ .
The user files (settings.txt, error logs, saved games, gfx, mods) are in /Users/USER/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/ .

If those don't help:
Please attach here your Documents/Parado... Read more

I see, then I wonder what could be getting in the way ... Do you have another machine at that location to test this one? Or can you move this machine to another location, OR connect via a VPN or mobile phone hotspot?

First check you can play MP with no mods at all enabled. If not one of you has a corrupted game installation.

If you can play like that though, then both enable ONE mod, and test. If that works, enable another and test ... that way you'll quickly pin down the problem mod.
