What you've done should have worked.

Did the mod files automatically install into the Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/mod/ folder?

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log

Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 10 minutes' play.
If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install

Please unplug any game controllers and joysticks from the computer before starting this game.

All the best!

Sorry, I'm a bit lost with your problem now.

You change the game's resolution settings in our launcher, is that right? That writes out to pdx_settings.txt

Then you run the game from the launcher. What happens then? That should copy those new settings to settings.txt

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-CK3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

That should do it for you!

From that error log it's pretty clearly a video problem. Please try the following:

- uninstall the nVidia driver and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- install the 2022 version from here:
www.nvidia.com

Download the latest official NVIDIA drivers ...

This is going to be a pain for you, and I'm sorry, but I see no way of avoiding it!

Please try the following:

- unsubscribe from all mods in BOTH the Steam Workshop and the Paradox mod site mods.paradoxplaza.com
- delete the folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/mod/
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/mods_registry.json (if present)
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/launcher-v2.sqlite (if present)
- run the game up and check the launcher is okay with no mod or other errors
- subscribe to a few mods

- run the game up and see if those mods are now available to you.

IF you still get this problem, it will have to be addressed by the launcher devs I'm sure (rather that HOI4 devs). Let me know!

Heya Kraiova,

I am having issues replicating this bug, and the video you have provided doesn't seem to work. Could you try re-uploading it to a video sharing website such as Youtube, Vimeo or Streamable?

Additionally, if it isn't already, could you try changing your GUI scaling to 100% and see if it solves the issue?

Heya Pale Blue!
As you said, this is an issue exclusive to German localization, and has been fixed for a future update to the game!

Thank you for your report! :D

Can you uninstall the game, restart the launcher and then reinstall it? That should pick up on the DLC.

That tab in the PDX client is pretty unreliable. If you launch the game there and look in the DLC tab of launcher v2, is it there okay?
