You could mod all the items that have requirements, but to to be honest, those are there for a reason, if you could just place anything everywhere there would be zero requirement to build houses at all, which would lead to zero of the materials being required which would lead to ... i assume you got it.

Or in short: There is no official way to do it and we neither recommend doing it unofficially.

No, you're doing it right. Imagine it's just seeping into the ground and polluting the area. *g*

Possible side effect of something else. The collaboration setting does not affect any connections, it just sets three config variables that you could also alter manually that define the difficulty.

Eco by default does not limit connections, as the game has no slots. The collaboration setting also has no effect on connection numbers, this seems to rather be a network issue.

Framed Glass will be better balanced in Update 9.0, but it won't be moved to Tier 3, that would cause the only transparent T4 block to be gone and given that even the Computer Lab now requires a T4 room, that would be displeasant for meteor parties.

T3 still needs a lot of love that it didn't get in 9.0, but that'll be tackled in a future Update.

It means that your save file corrupted and the game automatically restored the last backup on your last start of the server.

For automatic resolve of road contract roads cannot contain ramps or level differences currently, we hope to fix that in a future patch.

50 people is a small size guild in WoW. 50 people do not need 5 branch government for self-organization :D It begins to be relevant from I'd say 150 ppl at least. Unfortunately, there are no core features that could support even 150 players and no mentioned plans for them. There are very few professions half of them are not functional or have no sense and even less distinction within a profession. Plus the more you play the less you need other players. So even if they'll fix performance issues (which they didn't since I bought the game several years ago) they still have to redo the game's core gameplay issues to motivate people to join old servers instead of new ones.

I don't see where biomes are broken, though.

They are fixed in place. Even if you cut all the jungles, they'll grow back. You can't turn deserts into lush fields. No need ...

Eco is not an MMO, hence it doesn't claim being able to support that. And while long-term reaching 100 players is a possible goal, we do not plan to go beyond that. It would cause issues with the finite world very fast, as well. It's just not minecraft. Regarding governance we will need to disagree, i see 10 player servers unable to work without government, none of the bigger ones work well without. All of the notable servers have their own government structure outside of Eco that they can now implement ingame. None of them is run by single person or would work with a single person. I don't know a 150 people guild only having a single leader and no officers, just normal members without anything to say, do you? Does it work? (Please note that i was talking of users online at the same time, the population is therefore way bigger)

Given the "broken biomes" that's definately cool features, but not having these features doesn't make the biomes "broken". Aqueducts are nice to mak...

Biomes also seem to be getting more interesting in 9.0 :)

Server performance is also pretty OK. My private server reached 34 concurrent players a few days ago and it stayed afloat without lag.

Well, that "settling" is actually an intended mechanic and 9.0 focuses on that even more.

You get the point for performance, though. But that's part of 9.0.
Farming is something we want to revamp entirely in a future patch, hence it's not being touched at the moment. I don't see where biomes are broken, though. Might want to go into more detail there.

Alternatively open up users.eco in the config directory and add either your slg or steam64 id (or both) there:

"Admins": {

"System.String": {

"$type": "System.Collections.Generic.List`1[[System.String, mscorlib]], mscorlib",

"$values": [

"slg8xx92",

It's actually intended to show if its compostable, but it's not correct for every item.

Sure, he just needs to send you their Configs and Storage folder.

RAM depends on map size, up to 200x200 works fine with 4 GB, assuming you use a Windows Server.

That's a database corruption which cannot be fixed, you can either restore a backup or delete the .db file of your savegame (or keep it running corrupted), but in all cases without restoring backup your statistics (used for laws) will be broken.

Depends totally on if the server has any rules published. (Even if it's "you can't disagree with the admin" - then you know from the beginning, what you are into) I know the issue from the other side of the table, a lot of players insist on everything being admin abuse that they don't like. Hence i've years ago started writing my server rules in professional law manner, stating punishments for each violation and link people to there. I'll judge them like any judge in real life and remind them of if they would talk to a local court judge like that after he was convicted. They get the right to appeal as well, just as irl. But debating decisions in the game is a simple no-go, you wouldnt do that in the court room either if you are at least a somewhat sane person.

In general i strongly believe that the normal admin invests a hell lot of time and money into their servers and has the right to set the rules for the servers. (And we actually actively encourage that, because the bes...

I feel ashamed for my fellow countryman, please take my apology for the whole of Germany.

(Though i may halfway agree about trump, i don't think he is a horrible person, just a clown that makes us laugh.)
