Haha, nice! We'd also like to use this one for Social Media.
(And for the downvoter: My 'dot' key is a bit broken, the double dots weren't intended)

Well, the issue is that this is not the case. We are for example unable to reproduce this issue, as no matter how often we deploy Eco as a completely fresh install on a set of fresh installations, we do not get the issue. That's also the reason why it's not fixed yet.
Strike that, we actually found the issue just a few days ago:
https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/Eco/pull/7894 (Dev Tier only unfortunately)
For some reason the game starts with mouse sensitivity all the way down. Go to the control options and turn it up

Make the only pinned one a megathread. Then have that one link to other important threads.
I already did so a few hours before your post, thank you! :)
Awesome! Mind if we share via Social Media?
Agreed, there are soooo many question in this subreddit that are solved by just reading tooltips more carefully. That being said there are quite a few mechanics that are poorly explained but the majority are inconsequential. For example, knowing exactly how food works isn't critical, just eat the stuff with the biggest numbers and a rough balance.
Or explore on your own to find out how it works on a 'spreadsheet level', many people have fun doing that and many people have fun reading and upvoting that ;)
I do absolutely not agree, unfortunately. It's one of the most asked questions and much more important than server ads. The amount of stuff happening is not a good measurement for importance.
But I probably will remake the other pinned post, change the links that are very outdated and add other 'pinned posts' as links to it so that we can make a megathread for server-ads. Just moderating that one will probably get worse.
I did remake the information post and added a megathread for evaluation.
Hello there, this is the new megathread for server advertisements as had been requested.
You can post an ad for your server once per reset as a direct comment to this post.
Direct comments to this post that are not server ads or server ads that were posted before the server has reset at least once are prohibited and will be removed without comment. Please use the report feature to report such comments.
Please post any questions or feedback to a server ad as a sub-comment to that specific comment.
It would be great if you took a bit of time to make a good and informative ad, I might provide a template for this in the future.
There is a grace period until April 1 that we will tolerate server ads both in this megathread and as post on this sub reddit to see if and how this works out, as I have some concerns especially with older ads and reddits post sorting mechanisms that could yield unfair results. If thi...

How is the community suppose to help fill out the wiki when there is no information to learn about the game in the first place lol
I'm not really sure if you are serious about that question. We have a lot of experienced users that know every single mechanic just by testing and exploring it, those typically also added stuff they know. It's actually a bit how Eco is supposed to work, as we on purpose do not want to explain every mechanic in-depth. It's absolutely true there is basic information still missing (which I deem normal in EA though), but we're not necessarily going to ever provide more than basic information, that takes away the exploration. And if you really need to know an answer, you can just ask or copy it from someone that found it out and put it on the Wiki. I can understand when that is a bit too oldschool for some people, but Eco is an educational game after all.
do you guys get more money if we buy it directly off your website?
Yes, the 30% "steam tax" does not apply there.
Welcome to the official Reddit of Eco!

Not possible at this time, it’s a Reddit wide restriction that there can only be two pins at any given time, so it cannot be done until Reddit itself opens up for the possibility
That's unfortunate.
so the expectation is to have mini-hubs of production and transport everything around? The biggest problem for me is understanding storage linkages graphically in the world. the amount of time I have wasted making sure a storage is in the right spot is massive, on top of having to grind building materials for correct tier values
I'd not call it 'mini-hubs', but yes the intention is to transport everything around, just like in real life.
IMO Ore distribution chart is less important then server adverts.

Hey, even though your server is liked very much the rules also apply to yours - only one ad per cycle. I hence removed this post.
