What does the World Rot node say? If it only works against enemies, and the dummy isn’t an enemy dummy then that makes sense.

I’m sorry to hear that your friend lost his item. Dreamthorn is one of my favorite weapons :(. We are hoping to resolve this problem for a long transition time and you can still interact with things. As for the zone resetting, that is expected functionality at this time.

Serpent Strike can only be used if holding a spear. We currently have a bug where weapon restricted skills aren’t greyed out on your bar if you are using the wrong weapon and still usable. If you switch to a spear it should resolve the problem.
