I’m pretty sure that it is scaling with cold damage when converted to cold. Can you double check using the dummy damage to see if it is scaling with fire or cold damage?
Shrapnel’s tooltip will always say that it scales with fire damage no matter what. Shrapnel’s tooltip is wrong when you have Volcanic Orb converted to cold damage.

Not really, it's a bit of a running joke. Back when I started streaming, the game director would pop his head in sometimes to "leak" info without me knowing. The term kinda stuck and now I try to bring "leaks" every week.
All the big stuff also gets shown in showcases or devblogs on our forums too. It's mostly little teases for people who follow closely and little things like this are fun to share.
I will say that one of them this week is not what it appears at first glance.
The class you're playing affects the drop rate of non-unique class-specific idols, body armour, helmets, relics, and bows, and to a smaller extent the rate at which other weapon types drop. For example you'll find more rare wands as a mage than as a rogue. However, it has no effect on the drop rate of any unique or set items.
Agree that Slormancer is the sleeper hit these days. Starts off slow but damn it’s deep and hits all the notes we want in an ARPG. IF, you can get past the wasd controls and lack of story content. But hell, most people hate the story and want to map to begin with so…

The shrapnel is being converted to cold. Ability tooltips for sub-abilities (like shrapnel) are not updated to reflect the changes of the main ability. Once Volcanic Orb has been converted to cold, it no longer deals fire damage via the main orb or shrapnel. It does not count as a fire skill. It is only a cold skill.
We haven’t made a final decision on the status of Masochist mode going forward. I’m assuming that by realm you mean separated interactions. As in only hardcore players can party with hardcore players, yes that is the plan.
Is the lowest dungeon the level 55 one?
The Lightless Arbor Dungeon's lowest tier is level 20.

Pretty sure that node was removed a few patches ago. Probably just an old build guide.
Drops are instanced - every player gets, and only sees their own loot. This is not changing for multiplayer, and again we’ll be keeping a close eye on any sort of mechanics the community finds to greatly change the balance of loot in multiplayer.
Experience is also individual: xp is not provided to the group and split, it’s provided directly to the players, the xp is the same solo or in multiplayer. It also follows the same mechanics for xp curve as solo (eg. Being level 5 in a level 20 area will only grant xp as if getting it from level 10 mobs). Again, certain strategies may allow for efficiency differences, but we’ll always be keeping an eye on it.
We are not planning on any content to be only available to multiplayer.
