I only mean that I do not personally have the information on hand, not that our team doesn’t have the information of the report. While I wish I had the time to read every bug report and keep up to date on the status of every bug being processed at all times, I am only a human.

Sadly, many RMT sellers use the credit cards of their buyers to purchase additional accounts, so it’s not fully effective if gold sellers do have active buyers. (As if anyone needed additional warnings not to RMT)

I don’t have information on hand about this particular bug, however some potential reasons a bug may not be fixed in a particular patch:

  • We cannot reproduce the bug internally meaning it has a much longer investigation time
  • The fix is very complicated, requiring a larger amount of dev time
  • The bug’s overall impact (severity and/or number of affected users) is less than others with the same demands for resources
  • The fix may be reliant on another system or fix being completed
  • The fix touches either a large number of systems, or critical systems requiring more QA
  • There’s only so many hours between the QA, production, and release management teams to process bugs

Just because it’s not fixed doesn’t mean it’s ignored, we’re aware of it and on it!

We 100% want to add an in-game report feature and it’s high on the list to be added. However, this wouldn’t work for gold sellers. They already get banned about as fast as they come in (I spend many an hour after work just watching chat logs banning gold sellers to try to reduce their effect). We need more automated solutions, and are working on it.

Having an automatic mute/ban after a certain number of reports is also extremely abusable. It has already been abused in other games where groups of friends will all report someone legitimate together just to silence them or get them banned because they don’t like them.

Connection, stability, performance, memory usage, and transition times are all things we are constantly investigating and making small improvements to. Unfortunately there’s no singular notes we can really refer to (at the very least that have any sort of modicum of human readability).

Hello Travelers!

In today’s patch we have previously mentioned skill changes, stash tab cost reductions, audio updates and more! We plan to release more information regarding the mid-cycle balance changes tomorrow. So if you’re interested in seeing the results of the survey, and our plans going forward as a result of the feedback, please keep your eyes out for that post on our forums!

  • Moved Transition to Temporal Sanctum from The Ruined Coast so it’s not as easy to accidentally transition after combat.

Wrong of me to assume.

It's not the first time we've had people suspect things like this from anecdotal evidence before. Our crafting system had to be flipped on its head about 4 years ago because people were coming to us almost every day claiming that the math didn't check out. It was working perfectly but because people thought it wasn't, we had to change it. Ended up being a very positive change but the chances of getting a good item from crafting hardly changed at all.

I think there is some truth to that.

I played probably 7-8hrs my last session.

Moment I log in, first group of mobs I kill, I get a unique.

And yeh it's not a good unique but it's not the point I'm trying to make. It's the fact I got one instantly on first drop seems a little sus to be pure coincidence.

Also I'm sure the game tracks what you save your chest, what you shatter, modify and especially what you equip...cuz the moment I started stocking up on critical strike avoidance shards right after I equipped my first exalted with 57% CSA on it, I kept getting more a CSA and armour with CSA %

Nothing like this ever happens at all. (In LE at least)

No. Nope. False. Wrong.

There are no modifiers like this at all. Your play patterns have zero impact on drop chances in any given situation at all.

No exceptions.

This is not correct. It sets a minimum of 1LP, so if the item would have dropped with 0LP, it drops with 1 instead. It can still drop with 2 or more, but the chance of that is the same as normal.

Whatever you want, you can just switch if it's not working for you.

It is still an issue. We have no solution to it at this time.

Seek ye walls unseen, not one but a pair.
Beyond these barriers, hidden from sight,
Lies a challenge, a burden, a knight's arduous plight.
A pair of boots, not of ease but of trial,
Don these, and your journey extends another mile."

We have a fix for that internally. We’re currently expecting the fix to be released this week.

Hello Travelers,

We wanted to follow up regarding the survey we sent out Friday, and initial reactions. For some of the questions, there’s a fair amount of division, and others you have all been quite clear on. Two of these areas that have been quite clear are: Fixing bugs that cause skills or items to highly overperform, and being notified via public forum posts in advance when a bug fix or balance change will end up nerfing a highly overperforming build.

As it has only been a single day for us, we still need to have conversations regarding the survey results and feedback from the community, and make decisions based on them. However, in keeping with these initial results and feedback, we wanted to get out a post today. This week we are planning two major bugfixes which impact highly overperforming builds to be included with the patch (in addition to Dive Bomb’s change where Cloud Gatherer can only affect one Smoke Bomb at a time).

  • Fixed a bug where Profan...

I'm sorry, I'm not sure about that one. I think it was wrapped up in the same issue but it wasn't assigned to me so I'm not exactly sure which pieces were addressed.

I've also used the "100% Less Chance for Campaign Events in Prophecies" greater lens, so shouldn't I NOT be getting these at all?

Correct. There's a bug where that Lens isn't working on Majasa or Liath prophecies at the moment. It's been fixed internally and that fix will probably be included in a patch this week (next week if it's still Sunday for you).

I'm saying they continue to be a thing as I am still not claiming any change in policy. That's what the survey is supposed to help us determine, if we should change it or not to potentially include more types of mid cycle bug fixes.
