This is correct, Player-to-player trade with Merchant’s guild is an option. Both parties do still need to pay the Favor cost, and need to meet the Rank Requirements for the transaction, but other than that, it’s fair game.

Yes, but these kinds of trades would be something we will be monitoring very closely. We could...

That’s why you also have the Faction option of Circle of Fortune, which is a competitive option for gearing your character that doesn’t use trade! This is the very heart of the Item Factions system, in that everyone can individually decide if you want your gearing to be acquired through the utilization of a trade market, or not, without one side being left far behind, or limiting who you can play with.

No. An item purchased through the Bazaar will have a Merchant’s Guild Rank Requirement to equip the item. Changing back to Circle of Fortune means you will no longer meet that Merchant’s Guild rank requirement.

No, if there was prophecies for each specific item base and affix, there would be far too many types of prophecies to be able to navigate or acquire them.

The Bazaar search functions are intentionally more powerful than the loot filter.

The video was recorded prior to the latest version where it provided 50% favor. As mentioned, changes are still occurring, and specifics are subject to change with feedback. This was one of those things with the aforementioned loop.

Not rank, but the player’s faction is shown as an icon next to their name above their heads.

To prevent item flipping, market manipulation, monopolies, and prevent progressing just by sitting in town (in combination with Favor requirements); We want the main way to progress in Last Epoch to be getting out there and killing enemies.

Yes, Item Factions will be available in offline play - though as you mentioned joining Merchant’s Guild offline wouldn’t be very advantageous.

If we count them using specificity (each type of enemy killed that can trigger a prophecy): A lot, I don’t know the exact number off the top of my head. It’s also created in such a way we can continue to expand on prophecies in the future as well.

You spend Favor, not Reputation.

  1. No, the Favor is paid to the Merchant’s Guild, basically like a listing fee.
  2. Yes, you still pay the same Favor for a player-to-player trade, and still need the appropriate ranks to trade that item.

You’d need to farm the favor cost of listing each item.

Basically as you mentioned - The time required to play directly alongside another player to get a resonance would make this a sub-optimal route.

I'm sorry I can't share any details about what balance changes are coming in 1.0

I typically buy 1-2 of the yearly support packs each league (if the league is good) and often i'll buy a league support pack as well. I don't think I've ever bought just the top tier pack straight away, but I have skipped ahead rather than buy them one at a time.

But, most importantly (and really the only thing i think is super important to me) is that if i buy points I always want those points to come with a pack that includes other MTX.

Once supporter packs exist the idea of buying just points, without attached MTX, feels really shit. If POE didn't have a large variety of supporter packs (4 over the year, and 6 each league) then I think I'd spend significantly less on their store.

Yea, our packs also come with cosmetics points too. It's hard to not just straight copy what PoE is doing because they are doing it so well.
