We’ve determined this is related to exiting to character select and then loading another character, and have a fix in testing. If you find it happening otherwise let us know.

Please post different bugs in new threads-- it makes it easier to search for and keep track of. I’ll rename this thread to avoid confusion that this is a general reports thread. Thanks!

Thanks for the report-- the crating materials issue is just a display problem, you will have the items when it is fixed.

@OneEyedMan Thanks for the report as well, but please make a new thread to report different issues. I don’t believe item comparison has ever worked for items on the ground (it only works for items in inventories or other UI windows), so that’s more of a feature request.

Is that log from before or after you restarted to get the levels? A log of both before and after would be good (it gets reset on restart).

We determined the bug with enemies is caused by exiting to character select and then loading another character, so it’s possible that this leveling issue is caused by the same bug. Please let us know if the issue happens on a fresh start of the game and include your log.

Are these all characters that were created in 0.7.4?

AppData may be hidden depending on a setting in Windows. Try pressing the windows key at the same time as the r key, then type “appdata” (without quotes) and press enter.

You can’t upload images directly to the forum, but you can embed a link from somewhere else (i.e. imgur.com). Thanks!

Did you replace [username] with your username?

Currently you are the only person who has reported this issue. Thus, it is likely that we’ll need to troubleshoot issues specific to your install. We have no way of fixing this remotely at present.

I’m working on it right now. The new ladder is up on the web page but it won’t update quite yet. We’ve just gotta do one more little update on the website to make to switch over fully. Should be done later today.

As for character eligibility, your 0.7.4 characters are eligible for the ladder. Their previous highest arena waves will not be recorded. You’ll have to set new arena wave bests on the new patch.

Also if you are playing on the new patch already, your deeds between now and then will be recorded on the ladder when it goes live again.

Edit: Ladder is live, go for it guys.

Campaign

Added Chapter 7. This addition includes new zones, quests, enemies, music, and sound effects. Travel back to the Divine Era and witness a conflict between gods. Contend with Rahyeh’s armies, and explore the mysteries of Heoborea.

Skills

This patch introduces three new specialization trees, including two for brand new skills.

  • Added a new skill, Earthquake, which is unlocked by spending 15 points in Shaman passives. Earthquake is a melee attack that hits all enemies around you, and then sends tremors out to nearby enemies.

  • Added a new Mage skill, Flame Ward, which is unlocked at level 9. Flame Ward grants Ward, causes you to take less damage, and have a chance to retaliate with flames for 3 seconds. This is intended to replace Fire Shield and Ice Ward once other changes happen to the class.

  • Added a specialization tree for the Paladin skill, Sigils of Hope.

I know exactly what you’re asking about. We are planning on creating a system by which you can select each skill you plan to use in your build, do hypothetical skill point allocations as though you were at whatever level you want. This system would also include passives and hopefully also gear. Basically a theorycrafting mode. I’m sure you can think of a certain third party program for another ARPG that does this very well.

You are absolutely right that being able to preview skill trees is a missing feature and we want to add it. It’s just not easy. If I could toss this in over my morning coffee, I would.

We do appreciate you coming to the forums to leave the feedback and we haven’t discounted it at all. In fact, before I replied the first time, I added a note on my todos to try and work out a quick way to add a basic version of this if I can.

The code of conduct violation was very minor and it’s not like you’re on some naughty list or anything. I get the intent...

We don’t have the ability to easily do this in game at the moment. I know it seems “trivial” but it’s a little more complicated than you might think. We are a very small team and we need to prioritize what we work on.

It is something that we will be doing but we plan to take it a little further and do it all at once. We have plans to be able to map out your build in game. This is an in depth system that requires a lot of development time. If I were to take that on for a patch, it would probably mean that no new skills or trees were added that patch. Right now, we’re focusing on keeping the content flowing.

As you said yourself, this game is in beta. Not all QoL features are in the game yet. They are coming.

Also, while it was a mild version of it, you did literally break the code of conduct regarding promotion of cheats.
