Ahh. In that case I'll defer to the EHG expert in the thread
But normally you would have been right.

You can figure it out by looking at your character sheet and looking at your armor damage reduction for hits. Then apply the percentage of that value from your stats to dots.
So for example, if your armor would reduce the incoming damage by 30% and you have 10% armor applied to dots, then you're armor would reduce incoming dot damage by 3% because that's 10% of 30%.
Armor does nothing vs dots. Only hits. Resistance affects dots of their damage type, but armor does t do anything
They have a stat which applies a percentage of armor to dots. They are asking how that stat works.
GW1 was what got me into MMOs. Loved GW2 but I fell off after about 6 months. GW1 has been a huge influence for me on the design of LE.
So, with the steam push, is this deck verified yet?
Nothing changed on our end to cause this to happen.
We have not started work on Steam Deck at all. We haven't even discussed if we want to start working on Steam Deck deck support. We will be looking for platforms to start expanding into once we are comfortably past 1.0.
Update 6:25 PM CT: We’ve received a number of reports of players successfully able to log in again. The issue appears to be resolved at this time. Have a great Holiday Travelers!

“Steam” is a large number of services, for example their store is one service, while their auth servers are a different service. This means one service can be operational, while another is not. Each service also has a large number of servers behind it to support the volume they do, so services can also be “partially” down with some servers still operational, others not. In this case it appears to be an issue with authentication servers. Because it’s not on our end, I don’t have any more details concerning it unfortunately, we have basically the same access to Steam status information as everyone in the public does.
Last Epoch is currently down due to a Steam service outage. Services should resume as soon as Steam is back up and running. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Talk about faulty logic. Yes, each of those games have their own issues. But, they all just magically somehow got the same thing right? Please spare me, teleporting to towns has been a thing for almost as long as the ARPG genre itself. You're trying to turn a simple game mechanism into this super complicated issue, one that every single other game has been able to get working just fine reminder, instead of owning up to the fact the LE just screwed it up. And because of their bs coding players can't do something as simple as teleporting to a town without paying for it with bad gameplay.
Are you interested in a real conversation about this?
Lmao 🤣😂🤣. Harder than it sounds??? That's hilarious considering Path of Exile, Diablo, Grim Dawn, hell, even Torchlight could figure it out. Players have been able to teleport back to town to vendor or do whatever without this issue for decades pretty much in ARPGs. It's an issue that I've only ever experienced in Last Epoch so don't try to BS around it.
Even if we had all of the source code for each of those games to see exactly how they did it, we still probably wouldn't be too much closer to having a solution. Each system works in concert with the others and what works in one game might not work in another due to the adjacent systems.
Each of the games you listed have specific issues that only exist in those games. But because each of those other games does those things right, all of those things must be easy to solve right? See how that logic falls apart in the general case? Please do not presume to know the inner workings of our game and development process.
You don't need to believe me but I will fight faulty logic.
Yes, it's really unfortunate that it happens and we are working to fix it but this isn't some simple task that we're just too lazy to bother with or something.
On kbd + mouse, it's shift +right click. Controller should have a version of this. Look at the store panel you currently have open, it should say at the bottom.
We’re working to resolve a number of issues like this - I’ll make sure this is tracked and addressed.
its a shame you sealed the regen tbh, theres so many LP boots you can slap on so many different builds that the niche for exalted boots is fairly narrow (but these are damn good ones)
Do you mean because you'd want health regen over one of those stats the boots have now?
To add some insight from our side of the topic: We don’t view mastery as a specialization like your skill selection. Instead, your Mastery is part of your class creation, it’s just not chosen when you first create your character to help ease players into systems, passive trees, and lower the learning curve. This is why we opt for masteries not to be able to be changed as once you pick your mastery: you’re not a Sentinel that’s mastered into Paladin, you are a Paladin.
I almost never give "hard no's" to suggestions but...
No.
I'll leave the analysis and discussion for other players. Does look like fun though.
I just wanted to let you know about the character importer and builder tools on www.lastepochtools.com
You can import your characters directly and people can view it in an in game like environment with tooltips and all your gear and stuff.
It also has a bot on this sub that will automatically summarize the build in a comment reply.
This is not meant to be snarky but does the native Linux client get tested in general before a patch? Just wondering since there were some new graphical issues introduced with 0.9.2k. Or was this known beforehand but you did not want to delay a patch because of it? Are those Linux specific bugs something you are fixing for 1.0 (or maybe have fixed already internally) or is this something for after release? Love the game (>3k hours) and >95% of those on Linux native if you are looking for a tester... (also created the workarounds for the purple character select screen and flashing white circles). Thank you.
I'm not actually sure what the Linux testing pipeline looks like. I just asked to find out. I just assume that it gets checked. No idea how much.
