Yes on bans, yes on duplicate champs being possible. You won't see other peoples' picks until in game either

I mean tons of stuff. I'm not the lead on Champs team anymore so Lexical is the main person making champ opportunity spaces, but I still had TONS of opportunity spaces in my head when I moved off the team :) Me and Lexical still talk about Champ Opportunity spaces all the time though, so maybe some of my ideas still make it through, lol :)

We're reevaluating the strategy. The team has been full steam ahead on getting the 2v2v2v2 out for Summer, so we don't have much to share right now, but we know that we want to be doing more different modes than we have in the recent past.

Currently Briar, Jax and the mid laner are still on track. The midlaner could possibly slip to next year but right now we feel pretty good about it still making it towards the end of this year. *crosses fingers because that champ is lit AF*

Because I’ve been playing games since before games needed internet (gawd this feels too much like a “back in my day…” statement). And when I played WOW it was on dial-up and my internet was ass…but praise be the devs at Blizzard back in the day who made that sh*t run clean on potato internet.

There's obviously huge buzz around this new game mode, and its something the casual community has been asking for for a long time. I get that the competitive Summoners Rift experience isn't for everybody, but does the SR team ever think of the possibility of game modes cannibalizing SR's player base?
At the beginning of Season 13 and with the huge disappointment surrounding the start of year cinematic, the community was very vocal about the perception that League of Legends as a whole is seeing less priority within Riot. I wanted to bring up the same conversation but direct it specifically to Summoners Rift. My reasoning for this mostly revolves around a couple of things, first, the reallocation of resources to rebuild the Modes department from a team (Champions) who I deem pivotal to League and its evolution. Second, the scope and innovation of pre-seasons a...
So I can't speak for what people did in the past, but I can say that I am personally a fan of taking big risks. I was the Lead producer on the old mid season class updates we did in the past, as well as the producer of many loved/hated champions in league (like Yuumi) I was also one of the producers of the Preseason where we added Dragon.
In general I like pushing the envelope rather then playing it safe, so I wouldn't expect to see a tame preseason this year :)
How will the balance work? For example, is it possible picking 2 Supports without invalidating yourself?
Some comps will start better than others, but certain augments can definitely make 2 supports work. Some of the most degenerate gameplay in tests came from a double support comp.
