I'm not sad that Faker lost. I'm sad and upset that Faker performed as poorly as he did.

10 years ago. But top 700 was for onehanded. 15 average was 2 hand

One thing I think you neglected to discuss for that last teamfight is which ward Faker decides to teleport to. What does this fight look like if he teleports to the midlane brush instead of by the raptor camp? Faker would certainly have less downtime walking to the rest of his team, but maybe G2 collapse on him. He can flash over the same wall and get behind all of G2 before PerkZ can get to saftey. I'm unable to say whether this would have made a large impact in the fight, but I'd be curious to hear your take on it u/endercasts . Or anyone else who wants to respond for that matter.

In game 4? I was pretty sure I did talk about it. Basically said that yes he should tp to that was if he tps at the same time he did in the game. But his ward was fine if he tps 2s earlier

It's pretty obvious now that FPX just "choked" in groups and didn't perform to expectations because of nerves. Most notable cases are Lwx Kaisa and Gimgoon's GP against Visiczaci. I'm still not sold on Lwx because IMO his mechanics aren't special since DoinB is just doing so much work setting up the fights for him but Gimgoon has looked really good in understanding his role. My only downsides about him IMO was his Camille and I maybe biased but that's because I believe Camille is the last thing from a weak side champion.

Lwx is simply an above average LPL ADC and should not have been hyped as anything more than that.

Probably just didn't watch LPL much, it is a personal top20 after all.

I think if he rated them again he would probably put Tian very high up because of his stance on Doinb in the tournament despite him thinking FPX is still a good team.

LS thinks FPX is a good team? That's news to me.

Tian- undisputed best jungler in the LPL. Tian and Doinv were the best in mid jungle duo during the spring and summer split

Doinb- the person that links the whole team together. Hes their main shotcaller and is the reason why FPX is so strong

LWX- Top 3 adc in this season in LPL, but has been slumping ever since worlds. Might be nerves but hopefully he can fix his form soon

Crisp- honestly the best performing player in FPX at worlds so far. The most consistent player on the team and you can always rely on Crisp to do well

Lwx has been just fine at Worlds. He just had that one int game.

I think game 3 would have been in heavy favor of SKT if Effort wqsnt so tilted / nervous. He became a notable weak point and even the casters said that G2 should focus him and win through him because his nerves were getting to him. And that's what they did.

I feel so bad for Effort. He gets scapegoated for game 3 even though Faker hard trolled every fight.

This idea popped in my head recently after observing LCS pro Froggen do some in-house scrims the other day on his stream.

It was supposed to be a practice environment but it felt like... Your average 5-man league game with a lot of back and forth communication - This is the picture pros see in their games. It's hard to explain but the fact that observers see what happens on the entire map, clouds observers judgement of one or the other action.

In order to minimize that, a clear indication would be nice to have (since we're all about clarity ever since jungle timers). It would allow people to understand what's ...

In order to minimize that, a clear indication would be nice to have (since we're all about clarity ever since jungle timers). It would allow people to understand what's going on and learn from it from their own games. It would have various uses in learning or commentating.

I also watch a lot of Froggen on stream - one of my favorite pro players :)

We have talked about this in the past and it is something I'd like us to explore. I know one of our rendering experts did some experimentin...

You're right. I got a little excited there. Still a really good purchase vs her regardless

I'm gonna try jump in before this balloons. This was a 30 second clip from a 6 and a half hour stream VOD reviewing the 4 games. There's a huge amount of context that isn't here and I'm summarising for the sake of brevity.

When I say "played better" I mean as a team they made better decisions more often than G2 did. In many ways, their drafts made it harder for them to win but not impossible. But if we take game 2 as an example, the first 6 kills that SKT got were actually just G2 making terrible decisions or they were getting punished by SKT. In game 4, Caps just ran into 4 members of SKT to try and kill mata, which baited his whole team into a horrendous teamfight. They made greedy plays, they forced plays that didn't make sense WHILE ALSO doing incredible things. That's why I say overall. Some of the decisions these players made to compensate for some of the mistakes of their teammates was incredible. This team constantly thinks outside the box and constantly finds new ...

  1. He made a super obvious claim- *SKT has holes that can be exploited by good teams.* Guess what, Vedius? Every single team has holes that can be exploited by the right team. Would FPX or iG have exploited holes the same way that G2 did with SKT? I don't know. It was clear that SPY couldn't. But anyway, he made a claim that, as you said, could only be proven wrong *if SKT win worlds*. So, while SKT were definitely favorites, only one team can actually win Worlds and there are a lot of strong teams that could have potentially knocked out SKT.
  2. He doesn't actually tell us what the holes on SKT are. He can't be wrong about how teams will exploit SKT if he never actually says what the holes are. *taps head*

If SKT lost, which they did, he was going to look really smart to the average person because a team that loses generally has their issues and mistakes preyed upon by a better team. B...

Hi there, wanted to challenge a couple things you mentioned.

  1. It was a hilariously vague tweet that many people interpreted in a variety of different ways. The tweet was also made well before worlds. The original context behind it was i had a number of fans telling me SKT was the best team in the world, and I wasn't bought in. I never expected the tweet to balloon the way it did.
  2. I made a 50 minute video talking about teams in the LCK. You can check it out here, where I provide examples and my whole thought process that gives context behind everything I believed.

SKT did...
