The first cinematic deliberately set up Poppy and Vayne as directly implicated with the new Sentinels, yet the newest one implies Vayne is either directly sought out by Luc and Senna or meets them by chance, making that final scene of Ruination an abandoned plot thread. It also implies Vayne fails to mention she personally knows an ultra powerful Yordle who is likely stronger than all of them combined, which kind of goes against the idea that she's willingly tolerating magical presence for the sake of protecting Demacia. If you where never going to do anything with Poppy then you just shouldn't have included her. Her lore is extremely important to Demacia as a whole and now who knows if and when we will ever see that expanded upon now that she had he...

I’m confused as to what your argument is? You are saying the Vaynes lore doesn’t progress in a story u haven’t played through with the vast majority of the story not even released yet? Your argument is based on skin VO? I’m totally fine with constructive criticism but I would appreciate if it was after u have actually played through the entire event story. I can’t say a lot now since I don’t want to spoil any of the story.
I just hope that you guys use this event to advance Poppy's story even a little. How often will you get the chance for her to actually see that shes the hero and not someone else? Also shame that Bandle didnt get a representative but, might get that answer when Vex drops :D
Bandle city is in the spirit world so it didn’t make sense for the Sentinels to travel their or for the mist to reach bandle city since the ruination takes place in the physical realm
No f**king way lol. If she actually isn't playing any bigger role please just be honest and say "we didn't make any plans for her" or "we didn't think her skin would sell well enough so we shafted her". Just please do NOT gaslight her playerbase to cover bad storytelling/direction
I mean that's what she is doing at the moment from a lore perspective. We don't have plans for her in the event, but that isn't specifically because we didn't think her skin would sell or anything. It would have been impossible for us to fit every single Champion that we could of in this event as the event already has a enormous about of art assets in it, way more then spirit blossom. We wanted one champion per region, and we didn't really have the scope to add lots of champions per region. We had to choose between Poppy or Vayne for Demacia and we chose Vayne because her story progression made the most sense (since she is already a monster slayer so joining the Sentinels in order to get better tools to hunt more monster's made a ton of sense for her, and her lore already has a lot of overlap with the Sentinels) That's the honest answer. Of course in a world where we have infinite scope and resources I would have loved to include every single Champion players would want in this sto...

It's that her weapons can't hurt Shadow Isles monster's. She needs a Relic Weapon (the weapons the Sentinels use) in order to fight against black mist creatures

IMO, if it was an event that had different sides that can win or lose, it would be much more interesting and enjoyable. Working for your preferred side till the event ends (completing missions, playing games, and then at the end which side has the most points wins), and then according to who won the story changing based on that.
As a event maybe, but I think for LoL lore it's wouldn't be great as we would have to plan out 2 completely different ways the world changes and is effected by who won just for a event, which then would have massive ramifications on the entire world of Runeterra and anything else we do in the future that happen after the event. Not the mention that if we want to write a good story, now we have to write 2 really good stories, with one just being thrown away and it takes a ton of resources to write a good story, especially one as long as the Rise of the Sentinels story is. We wanted the story of this event have real consequences to the world and characters in it, and to do that well it only made sense to focus on one good story.
