We just released a fixed version, please update the app in the Google Play store - hopefully this should address the bug.

I remember when we were building this screen, and our visual designers imagined how the powers would fly around with fancy glowing trails and look super cool. But all the pre-viz mock ups showed just two or three powers, meanwhile the gameplay designers were getting more and more bold with their use of powers. We had a conversation about how this screen needed to support many more powers than the vis dev folks initially thought!

I can’t recall all the details, but a visual designer made sure the screen worked with as many as 15 active powers per player. What you’re seeing is the blank tiles they iterated with to make sure everything still worked and looked good with so many powers animating along fancy curves and slamming into the power preview button on game start.

IIRC there was also a bug where this screen would straight up crash with 16+ powers, but I believe that was fixed at some point (powers 16 and beyond just don’t get a fancy animated tile during this scre...

When The Arsenal came out, he just had keywords for each Landmark that had died that game. That read cleaner and was more understandable and easy to play with since that allowed us to display his keywords in hand.

It turns out, that meant that he could get permanent SpellShield which we hadn't run into since we made that change late in development which we had thought was a quality of life fix. So, we had to make an emergency fix without being able to change the text yet (only time we've ever done that).

And that's why we call him the arsenal! (also, RIP scout as a generatable keyword)

Any link or quote from riot to confirm the statement? Or are you talking out of your ass?

The new game director said the asol bundle was very, very, very, very, very successful.

I like it a lot

I like how hard it is

I wish the random powers were less anti-combat centric and instead a mix of that and anti-control.

I do NOT enjoy how I've lost almost entirely to buried in ice spam.

I hope there are more adventures about as hard as this.

I am worried this is gonna be far too easy with a 4-6 star champion, seeing as some good players have beat lissandra with 1 and 2 star champs

It that stares frightens me.

Typo. Supposed to be "Card Ruff!"

As in the Asol adventure or Asol himself in your office?

Both.

Just made a post asking and somebody confirmed it. Freljord is locked behind Sol challenges. Gotta beat him with all the required regions

That’s how all the world adventures work

Nah I think the real valid answer to "Lissandra feels unfair because I lost to her" is "good, you should lose to her".

(So far my attempts: lost on the first fight with some random 2 star level 19 champ; lost to It That Stares with Kindred, 2 star level 25; lost to Lissandra herself with Yasuo 3 star level 18)

Honestly.... this is exactly what I wanted! I would've been a little disappointed if I won first try. When a dev says "we had to call security because someone screamed so loud when they lost to Lissandra while testing" this is what I expect.

(Does that mean Lissandra's adventure is designed perfectly? Is the difficulty balanced across the fights? That's a different question. So far, it seems like She Who Wanders is much, much easier than It That Stares.... but of course, my sample size is 1 so this doesn't mean much. )

To clarify, we didn’t have to call security. Security heard someone scream so loud late at night that they came running to save her and discovered she was testing against lissandra. :)

Hey there, so first off, I want to say I'm sorry that you feel this way, and I understand the frustration you're expressing here.

I want to say that at the time we gave this answer, we had double checked with the relevant folks within Riot (and there are a lot, the League Client is a complicated thing with many moving parts, teams, and schedules) and we believed that we gave an accurate answer with the information we had at the time. As time has gone on, things have changed, but we are still expecting to go wider with the promotion of LoR in the League client soon.

I don't want to give an exact time frame because I don't want people to feel lied to again, which is not our intent. But I'm in active threads with the people who are making this happen, so I know it's on track - it's just unfortunate that we were not able to make it happen in the February time frame we said earlier, and for that, I apologize.

We will rotate when we release the upcoming set in a couple months. Thereafter we will do another rotation, of some unknown size and timing, dependent on the capacity of the team. Once those two go out, we will assess what our long term strategy will be.
