Our team has been working incredibly hard to get this feature tested and to a place where we are confident that it will perform exactly as intended. While we want everyone to find their long-term home in Aeternum as soon as possible, we also want to ensure that the process is seamless and ready for everyone to use. During our testing we uncovered some edge cases where the transfer experience does not meet our standards for its release. This means that we will be taking some extra time to get these issues resolved before we feel comfortable giving everyone their free server transfer token.

To keep everyone updated and ensure players know what to expect, we want to answer some of the top questions we’ve seen about how the server transfer will work.

I can help for the second one! It’s on our known issues list which means the developers are aware of the issue and working on a fix for it.

No ETA yet, we want to be thorough in our testing.

So after some investigation our team has found that Influence is indeed scaling too fast. We will adjust this for the attacking Factions and will remove Influence scaling from the defending Faction. These changes still require review and testing and we plan to release them as soon as possible. We will continue to tune this and other features going forward. Your feedback helps us identify areas like these that require extra focus from the team. Thank you so much for raising awareness on this!

Can you please let us know which world/server you are on/were on when experiencing this issue?

That being said, the team reviews each server on a daily basis to see if the status can be changed to “high” and I do know there were some previously “full” worlds that were unlocked. I’d recommend keeping an eye out on Server Status | New World to see if the server you’re interested in is available for character creation.

To clarify, “full” does not necessarily mean that the server is full at that dedicated moment; it’s an indication of how many active players there are on that particular server on a daily basis to ensure that players with established characters are granted access over new characters coming in.
