Beginning on September 9th, 2019, in order to accommodate the new features and graphics associated with the game’s next update, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is no longer supported on some legacy iOS devices.

The minimum required iOS version was previously iOS 8.0 and is now iOS 10.0. The list of unsupported devices can be found below. After the update on 9/9, players on unsupported devices will be unable to download the newest version of the game, and the App Store will highlight that their device is unsupported.

At any time before or after the update, players can import their account from an unsupported device to a supported device using their in-game Player ID and/or Ally Code. Daily Login Character for September: Clone Sergeant - Phase 1

Newly installed on all of your character cards, the Relic Amplifier increases the power and utility of your character collection. This is accomplished through the new Archetype model that leverages the Primary Stat and Role of each of your characters to more sharply define each Role - and provide more distinction between characters that share the same Role, but that use different Primary Stats. With the goal of making your characters feel distinct, each Archetype accentuates the confluence of a character’s Primary Stat and Role, allowing us to further sharpen these distinctions as you upgrade a character’s Relic.

With the new Relic Amplifier system, we’ve taken the three Primary Stats, (Strength, Agility, and Tactics) and the four existing Roles, (Attacker, Tank, Healer, and Support) to create the 12 new Archetypes. The power and utility for each Archetype will be supercharged ... Read more

We’ve seen reports of scoring issues with the Championship Leaderboard. After a quick investigation, we determined these are valid scores and are due to players who received a bye in their round. Players who receive a bye are immediately granted the full possible score for completing that round (based on division) plus the 1000 points for winning.

We have seen some cases where the points for winning can come a bit later if a player logged out immediately but we are monitoring for any issues with the Grand Arena Championship Leaderboard.

Today’s Server Update contains a fix Grand Arena Championship's lifetime score issue.

CHANGES

• [GRAND ARENA] - Removed extra lifetime points that rolled over from the previous season. You will need to reboot your client to see these changes.

We will be rolling out the server update over the next several hours. Once complete, we will notify you in this thread.

We're aware of an issue where the Grand Arena Championship lifetime score was not reset for all players.

We're targeting a hotfix for some time tomorrow to address this issue. The current Grand Arena Championship will continue and all score earned so far will remain.

We'll give an update here tomorrow when we know more about the hotfix timing.

There were a bunch of good questions recently about the Clone Troopers and how their kits exactly work so I sat down with a couple designers to clarify. We also have two changes that we are making to the kits before release: Fives’ description for his Unique 2 isn’t clear that it’s a heal and we also found an infinite loop with Echo and Cody in PvP & PvE.

KIT QUESTIONS

Health Increase from Rex’s Leader Ability
Rex’s leader ability states the following: "Clone Trooper allies and 501st allies have +20% Max Health. This increase is doubled for 501st Clone Troopers and halved for other allies." It’s a bit confusing but here’s a quick breakdown of how much extra health each faction will receive.

• 501st only: +20% Max Health
• Clone Trooper only: +20% Max Health
• 501st Clone Trooper: +40% Max Health
• Everyone else: +10% Max Health

Hi Holotable Heroes,

In a few weeks, with the introduction of our next progression system – Relic Amplifiers – we are “closing off” additional gear tiers for all characters for the foreseeable future, after they reach G13. Instead, gear and future gear materials will be used to improve a character’s Relic. We will also be kicking off a new round of changes intended to make it easier for players to reach higher gear tiers and access the Relics system. (More on how this is going to work in a future post!)

The next time you enter the Character Collection view on a G13 character, after the update, here’s what you’re going to see:

Closing down Grand Arena Championships 8/19

Hello Holotable Heroes,

We have decided to bring the current Grand Arena Championship to an early end due to issues around:

• Some feats completion pointing to the incorrect conditions
• Login Issues preventing access or kicking players
• New scoring issue where some players are reporting early points

While login issues seem to be resolved, we’d like to make sure there are no players left out of the sign up for this Championship. We plan to re-start the Grand Arena Championship in the very near future (likely this week) and will share the updated schedule as soon as we’ve decided the best timing.

We will be sending players 150 Crystals and 250 Championship Tokens for the inconvenience of rescheduling the Championship. Our apologies for these issues and we’re excited to re-start the Championship in a few days.
