The company that hires the developers... I don't think they have contracts like actors where they receive more money if the game sold more. You can argue that the revenue coming in keeps them employed but by all reports, sales were disappointing for them.

It depends company to company but bonus pay because of sales directly does exist in our industry. Disappointing sales also mean something different. If the goal was 10 and you sold 7 that's disappointing. But to pay for the cost of development was 4 it's still disappointing because it's not 10 it was 7.

Just stating this stuff since a lot of the time how our industry works isn't clear outside the industry. <3

Just checked with our team, they have a fix for this slated to be in Title Update 5 / Episode 1 and it should also retroactively grant it.

As always, keep in mind things could break or not fix a specific instance that we haven't seen yet but hopefully you guys will login and everything will be good!

To clarify: Episode 1 will launch on the 23rd of July. If you do not have the Year One Pass you will not be able to play:

  • Washington National Zoo.
  • Camp White Oak.
  • Kenly College Investigation Area #1.

You will be able to access:

  • All balance changes.
  • Raid Discovery difficulty.
  • Apparel Event.

On July 30th everybody will then have access to everything, including:

  • Two Investigation Areas in Kenly College.

Only exception:

  • Classified Assignments are Year One Pass exclusive and will not be available for any players without the pass.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We're hoping that this will fix the Echo-2 errors for all effected players. Hopefully we won't have to do this again in the future, as we know some players would prefer to test their own builds.

Hey. Just to clarify, not all Skill changes are on the PTS but players can obviously still give us feedback about the current state. I pointed out that not all changes are live, and they are not, but I did not discourage any testing.

Players can definitely give us feedback on what's the current state but there will also be dedicated testing and surveys as announced before.

We're activating the Year One Pass for all players on PTS in the next couple of hours. You will then need to restart your game and will have access to the Main Missions.

Thank you for this incredibly in depth report on the revive hive :-) If there is any footage of the issues you have encountered, we'd love to have a closer look in order to investigate further!

When you say doesn't work, you mean that it simply does not revive or deploy? Or both? Can you elaborate on the scenarios in which you've had issues with the Revive Hive skill?

All things considered though the bugs are just an annoyance compared to the rng problem. I dont know how the development process works and I am assuming the rng is a complex issue you are looking at but I know I am speaking for a lot of people when I say I am more than willing to put up with the annoyance of bugs in the game for now to get better rng sooner rather than later.

Essentially what is happening is same thing that’s been happening since launch. The revive hive drops upon being downed, but it just won’t heal no matter what. Even when you’re not hit with any status effects. It’s incredibly slow when it does work, & also revives you with no armor resulting in an instant re-down. I don’t know if this is by design or not, because when the hive works & it belongs to a team mate, it heals you with at least half your armor back. I have even experienced instances where I would be in cover & die, then a team mate would use their hive to revive me, but upon revive I can’t hurt any enemies with any type of offense at all.
