As some others in this thread have brought up, different players engage differently with the game and that can sometimes be reflected in their builds or playstyles. These differences do not make them and their gameplay experiences inferior or less important in any way. I know I personally use an un-optimized build and still hold my own as a part of the team while playing.

Also as a general reminder, please treat your other forum posters with the same respect and good-faith readings/responses that you would want for yourself.

On a slightly tangential note, have any of you stumbled upon a hidden-overpowered build that might, to the untrained eye, look random or haphazard? But to you fits precisely with how you like to play and achieves staggering results?

I've seen some players suggest that joining a game with a friend or having a teammate open the chest can have good results if it isn't dropping.

Also, the dz1 caches. Dz2 caches, full of resources we use, steel and electronics.

Tldr. Make dz2 a resource farming mecca, and increase odz rewards. That's the way to get more pvpve.
Well now this is certainly a hotly discussed topic. What exactly do you mean when you say "bigger rewards?" What would be, to you personally... Read more

I can understand that must get annoying, especially if you're trying to roll with a skill focused build. While it can force sudden mix-ups in plastyle and add some variety, forcing that change can be tough in a pinch. How have you reacted and responded to dealing with these enemies in the past?
Comment
Through various Rogue activities they are able to steal loot and gain Rogue DZ experience. This will give them various perks to and bonuses from other Rogue actions.

Nice roll, sounds like it will be a great addition to your build. Just have to make sure you're landing those headshots.

Also, while talents and attributes are important, don't forget you can accentuate some of the weapon strengths through weapon mods as well!

Indeed they will! The buffs are not insubstantial either. How do you feel they might change in demand after the patch?

While I'm glad it all got sorted out with a quick restart, I appreciate you bringing this to our attention initially!

I appreciate the feedback.

Could you possibly elaborate on what you mean by the DZ not having "life like the first one"? What does that mean to you?

Thanks for the feedback here, guys. There's definitely a fine line between getting enough information to optimally theory craft and having the screen flooded with too much information, so it's nice to get an idea of where you all stand.

Find yourself a long red jacket and a big red hat and you've got yourself a Captain Hook situation brewing right there.

Hey all, another reminder to focus the discussion on the DZ itself rather than any particular group of players/playstyle. Let's avoid flaming.

Just a reminder to avoid personal attacks on people who don't play the game in the same way as you. Whether you're a PvEer, PvPer, or anything in between.

Thank you for the feedback on the enemy movement hiccups, everyone. I know that my assault turret's clairvoyance has saved me numerous times as it keeps tracking an enemy as they blink behind me.

If you are particularly worried about one-shot snipers, I'd be curious to hear if the Protector Drone or one of the Ballistic Shields make a noticeable difference. I haven't gotten the chance to try such countermeasures myself, but others might know.

Hey there! We can't investigate this via the forums. You can request an appeal at support.ubi.com , but keep in mind that it may or may not be overturned depending on the exact case.

Closing this thread because these types of posts can sometimes attract flaming.

The chicken dance has been a... long discussed topic, for sure. Since it is a manipulation of the movement system, it would be difficult to completely remove it without fundamentally changing how movement works for all aspects of the game. That said, I understand that it can be extremely frustrating to face off against. How have you guys been dealing with it when you do see it, out of curiosity? Any advice for those who find themselves up against a chicken dancer?

Flame enemies are the ones that get me the most. I get too greedy and go for the kill but get the fire-damage payback.

Please refrain from personal attacks or inappropriate language in our forums. We value your feedback as long as it is in a constructive manner.

Should this thread derail in such ways again, it will be closed.

Similar to the recent feature of a post-mission performance readout, there definitely can be some nuanced reasons that information can be misused. While it's important to keep those points in mind, more information often leads to more positives than negatives. Though I really appreciate the conversation and feedback here.

Could you perhaps elaborate on how this kind of feature impacts your moment to moment PvP gameplay? I can follow the more high-concept points you're making, but I'd love to hear soem of the nitty-gritty.
