For a number of years, the PC/Mac version of Path of Exile has used a trade system where players can search for items on a trade website, and then contact those users in-game to arrange a trade. The console version of Path of Exile has used a different system, called the Trade Market. This post details our plans to bring the Trade Site to console players and eventually phase out the Trade Market.

The context for these changes is that of unification. It would be great to see both the console and PC version have the same choice of either mouse/keyboard or game controller. It would be great for them to get the same patches, on the same day, and potentially have cross-play, cross-progression and cross-purchases. All of these are difficult issues that require significant engineering work, platform support and various other factors, so we're not able to promise any of them at this stage. As we revealed on our Lake of Kalandra announcement livestream yesterday, we'll be hosting our second ExileCon event in New Zealand next year. At the event, we'll announce the Path of Exile 2 Beta start date and will reveal almost everything there is to know about Path of Exile 2 and Path of Exile Mobile. Attendees will be able to play both games, attend developer talks, meet the team, hang out with other Path of Exile fans, and more!

New Zealand is a great place to visit, but if you're unable to make it, we'll be streaming all the announcements and developer talks online for free.

When and where is ExileCon 2023?
The event will be hosted on July 29th and July 30th 2023 (NZT) at the Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.

Around a year ago, a group of Path of Exile community members started a new {LINK REMOVED}player-run Wiki. We now host this on our servers, so that they don't have to incur the hosting costs. We wanted to take a moment to let you know what this means and what to expect in the future.

Because it was created to provide reliable, up-to-date information rather than to make a profit, its hosting costs have been a burden on its creators. We're very happy with its quality, and when we were approached about the idea of hosting it on GGG servers, we liked the idea. Delirium was my first full league that I played from launch day to finish. I had played Path of Exile semi-casually starting at the end of Metamorph, but became completely enamored with the gameplay loop of this game. I started playing ARPG's with the launch of Diablo 3 (back when there was real money auction house, no adventure mode only campaign, and when you would see mayyyyyyybe 1 Legendary item the whole campaign - My wizard that dropped a Barbarian belt after killing Diablo was not happy).
