This is still being investigated, but we have a few potential resolutions for this. Have you tried these already?
If it only happened this one time to you, we can still go through some connection troubleshooting, but since it's so uncommon, I don't think that's really going to help. Definitely happy to do it though. Otherwise, there isn't really anything I can do.
Can you give me some better details on what exactly is happening? Also, what system are you playing on and do you use a wired or wireless connection?

There's a warning before unlinking accounts that this will happen. Unfortunately, there's nothing else we can do about this.
I'm very sorry, but this is not correct. You keep your level only when unlinking accounts.
I really don't know why, but I can see that your account has been banned. You'll have to wait for a response from Terms of Service to your dispute.

You should receive those shards when 500 packs are opened so most likely your count is a little off. I'm not aware of any issues with this currently.
Your connection is a lot less stable on a wireless connection. Even though it's been fine for 2 years, it's very susceptible to interference. It's possible some new interference has been introduced. Thanks for trying that. You mention you think your IP might be the issue. Can you give me some more details on that? Also, take a look at the network settings screen on your Xbox and let me know what the NAT type is.
