@Tristen1195 Hi, if you try a Clean Boot and only start the game and Steam, with the overlay toggled on, does that make any difference?


I suspect there's some conflict with some other overlay software, and testing with the Clean Boot can check for this.

@Kinn1999 Thanks for the extra detail. I wonder if you can tab out and check your Task Manager (Ctrl, Shift & Esc) and see if any performance tracker is showing as maxed out, either by the game or another program.

@huyness6 Hey, can you try re-rolling from the lobby page instead? On the main challenge page the button to confirm is unresponsive. Though you can press the d-pad to highlight it, rather than using the cursor.

@Xrider26  It appears that there's a glitch where the "new pack" indicator can show up later than it should. It's leading to a fair few posts like yours, but it looks like everyone gets their content.

The pack itself was received and opened, about 45 minutes before your post. It was unremarkable, with a common Crypto quip, a rare flatline skin and 15 crafting materials.

Thanks for the detailed post. From what I can see there appears to be a mixup here.

A BP Apex pack was acquired and opened about 20 minutes before the timestamp given.

There can sometimes be a glitch where a previously unlocked BP item will show up in your rewards again after a match.

If I might make a guess, I suspect the pack was already opened -it was possibly assumed to be a pack from levelling-, then you played another match, at which point you were given the erroneous late notification for the pack you had already received. 

The pack contained a Wraith Quip, an L-star Rare skin and a Common flatline skin.

Thank you for that, I just tried it myself from the Challenges menu, and as you note, the UI element doesn't respond. 

We'll send this up the chain, but in the meantime you should be able reroll your dailies from the mini challenge menu at the side of the main lobby.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a solid confirmation. You may need to log into Origin once at the start of the season to get the BP attached to the account. 

Sorry for not having a rock solid answer on this, I'll let you know when/if I do have more.

We don't have any news on a potential gen 5-specific, but you will of course be able to keep playing via backwards compatibility on your new system..

Sorry I have no idea. Maybe it was disabled for a different cross-play game, or was turned off by a cautious parent or sibling, if that's a factor?

Hi, can you ensure that cross-play is enabled?

You can toggle this on within the XBox system settings. 

  1. Go to your Xbox settings
  2. Scroll to Account and click on Privacy and Online Safety
  3. Click on Xbox Live Privacy
  4. Click on View Details and Customise
  5. Click on Communications and Multiplayer
  6. Change "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live" to unblock.

If you jump out of the lobby and back in again, does that clear your Party Not Ready status? Press Options then the touchpad to return to the title screen.
