Its not good to hear we're running into this issue, to confirm you tried running on Steam and Origin, and EA Desktop? If so can we try launching your device in a Clean Boot then testing after it first starts to see if this continues?

Hey @Fermaldo Depending on the version of the game you purchased you will have a duel entitlement for the next-gen version as well. If purchased the Standard edition, there is one only for Gen 4 and one with the Duel Entitlement.

@ToSIIColette I would recommend first checking BF2042 settings to make sure cross play is enabled (we may need to try disabling then reenabling), if not check both the EA account and PS/Xbox account privacy settings. Illium.png

@Chubnubs Depending on which edition you purchase, some will come with a cross-gen entitlement, so if you upgrade to Gen 5 you will have that version of the game. Illium.png

Hey @ToSIIColette Depending on which console you play on, you won't be able to play. We have a breakdown of 2042's cross-play here. Due to last-gen limitations, they play on 64-player battles rather than 128-players. so Gen 4 can only matchmake with PS4 and Xbox one (not series X|S)
