No worries! Thank you for following up and letting me know.
Glad to hear you were able to figure out what was happening.
Got it, thanks!
Have you been keeping an eye on your temperatures and hardware usage around the time the error happens? Are you seeing anything out of the ordinary there?
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Nothing really stands out in the DxDiag, like you said. Have you been keeping an eye on your CPU usage while Apex Legends is running? Are you seeing anything out of the ordinary there?
Hi @Shinagami7,
Whenever you open a pack the contents would be automatically added to your account, even if you don't actually see the pack opening animation.
The best thing to do would be to get in touch with the EA Help team if you haven't already so they can take a look. They should be able to see what was in the pack you opened. You can find more information on how to set up a case with them at the ...

I see, thank you!
Have you checked to see if there are any updates available for your CPU or BIOS? I've seen some cases where that can also make a difference with FPS drops. If you're able to give that a try please let me know if it keeps happening afterward. Thanks again!
Hey @1tz7,
Are you running into the same DXGI errors? Have you had the chance to try updating your graphics drivers or BIOS to see if that makes any difference?
Gotcha, thanks!
Would you mind sending us a DxDiag when you've got the chance? You can find more details on how to pull one up at the EA Help website. Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks again!
Thanks for giving that a shot as well.
What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before launching Apex Legends? If there's anything else running that could be related to the lag spikes that may help narrow it down.
For more details on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. If ...

I also see this happen occasionally. Sometimes I see it when queuing up immediately after getting back into the lobby. If I wait a bit before queuing again that can help.
It may also require leaving the squad and joining back up again, unfortunately.
Hey @Supreme-King-01,
In the past I've seen cases where reinstalling the graphics drivers can help with errors like this. I've also heard from others who've said that updating their BIOS has helped as well.
If you're able to give that a shot I'd appreciate it. Let me know if you still run into this same error message afterward. Thanks!
Hey @CringePoster,
As far as I know there isn't a way to get around that limit. Once an EA Account has been linked to a Prime Gaming account, it can't be connected with another.
Hey @Solotov0625,
Have you checked your privacy settings to make sure that cross-play and invites are enabled?
Got it, thanks!

Have you tried changing your DNS to see if that makes an difference at all? I've seen some cases where that can help with similar issues.
You can update the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. Choosing the Manual option will let you enter a DNS of your choice. I've seen several reports recently that the public Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1...
