@Fanman235433 If there was another Steam account linked to that EA profile, you won't be able to link a new one. You can still reach out to our support team if you'd like to check your account history, but we cannot promise anything in this case.

To clarify, it is not possible to transfer your game progress between different accounts. If your Steam account was previously linked to another EA account, the progress will not transfer over if you will link it to another EA account. 

The number of platform accounts you can link and unlink with your EA account is limited. Once you have connected your accounts, you will be unable to disconnect your Steam account for six months.
