Yes, so that’s where were at. I think when mentioned on Twitter there was some confusion. Soft currency = shillings, what you can earn in-game. Hard currency = £/$/€/etc, for premium cosmetics.

Yessir, we’ve no plans to put any new items in the commendation chests.
No plans to add new cosmetics to the chests.
We hear you. We’ll be doing regular updates here in the forums on ~weekly basis from next week where we plug through some forum threads and such, with different subjects from time to time. Watch this space.
We’re looking at adjustments to quest objectives, some of the balance outliers discussed and fixing up bugs and adding some polish.
It won’t be the same build no, but when it comes to larger changes people want to see we’ll be looking to address that stuff in the future.
We appreciate that there are some proper bogeymen - like vanilla crafting, deeds, stacked up resources and the like, and we really are looking at these items for future releases.
Following up, the quests will become consistent between players as expected on my end at least.
Also, I misspoke about the critters being party wide internally, that’s yet to be changed, but the plan is to change it.
Technically these betas use the same progression as your main hero progress, shown by being able to switch between beta and live versions with all in-tact. The only times there’s guaranteed no progress is if tests are held on a standalone application like our Closed Test app. There are risks in progression being altered on these betas, but they would typically just impact very individual areas such as currency (think essence or shillings) or specific statistics that may be specific to the contents of the beta (such as particular challenges for new content in test).
Hopefully before the Age of Sigmar. You know, I’ve learned a bit from experience to dodge timeframes, because we’re just honestly not very good with them.
We’re fixing that.
We’re looking to reduce firstly the number of some of the quest objectives, in particular the “complete X weekly events” and “collect ravaged art” objectives.
I know the original intent for the critter quest was that it be group wide, and I believe this has been corrected internally for the release.
I’ve enquired about the difference in objective counts between players and asked if this is something we’re changing. My assumption this is kind of an A/B test, but you know what they say about assumptions
We’re wrapping up the beta next week, most likely on Monday or Tuesday. As for the beginning of S2, we’ll get back to you on that as soon as possible.
We’re looking to have a ‘hide owned’ option and potentially additional filters, so you can show all of anything for a given career on a single scrollable list, for example. Likely won’t be in from the start but these are options we’re looking to expand on going forward.
We do have some recoloured hats in the Emporium, and more to come. Long term we’d love to be able to offer a more streamlined way of doing this, and we’re looking in to that. It wont be for the launch of the Emporium though.
The modded realm uses the same build as the official realm, just requires different boot up processes (such as EAC). Having a beta along side the live game would require double the storage space, which of course is an option for some folks but definitely not for everyone. There are ways to have both downloaded for those who wish to switch in and out without the downloads, but it requires some trickery that can be googled
We should have news before the week is out.
We don’t control that. When Sony pushes the buttons
We are happy to announce that the first expansion to Warhammer: Vemintide 2, Winds of Magic, will be coming to PlayStation 4 on January 15th. We are grateful for your patience and understanding over the past weeks as we have finalized and polished the expansion for this release. The Beastmen cometh!
The Double XP is still ongoing and will continue to run until January 15 and the release of Winds of Magic.
You can change it in the launcher I believe?
image536×515 84.7 KB@mashmonster, @Rebel, no need for this bickering, please!
It can, we can and have removed deeds from players who just don’t want to use them but find them to be eating inventory. Best we can do at this specific moment.
There was a time when each illusion took up inventory and we migrated that system to a different type of container in the backend system. I’d like for us to see us do more of this and expect we will as we go forward. These do take some heavy scripting and massive amounts of testing though as it’s not a migration you want to break or get have more than one go at - safely at least.
