Hey, unfortunately, this is a known issue which the team are looking into at the moment.

In the meantime if you unlock the next Kingdom: Zhul’kari, you’ll be able to continue with the Zhul’kari Questline and you’ll be able to come back to Khaziel once we’ve fixed the bug.

It’s intended to work the way Fourdottwoone described with only one pet image showing on any particular bonus box.

It was designed this way to future proof. We currently have over 1000 Troops, as time goes on who can tell how many Pets there will be in the game and it would be unweildy to show them all in the same bonus box or give them all separate boxes.

I’ve updated the thread title for the bug report linked above as well.

It was actually Melbourne Cup Day here. A sport related holiday.
It’s a controversial one but whether we celebrate it personally or not, it’s a bank holiday :woman_shrugging:

Unfortunately Halloween isn’t big here despite what the retailers say, that would be much more fun for me though honestly haha.

We used to trick or treat before everyone got too anti-american to humour the kids, then as a teenager I used to host the funnest Halloween parties even if I say so myself :joy: nowadays I just make spooky snacks and watch a scary movie with my partner :slight_smile:...

For further insight into how replacing existing art works:

You name the file the same way the old file was named. Delete or rename the old art in the project. Then drag and drop the new art into place. This way you keep both versions in our files but the new version will replace the old version in the game project when the next builds are done.

So it’s basically a drag and drop to replace art. The person who does the builds is already doing the builds so it doesn’t add more work to their plate as they’re already doing the thing.

No programming knowledge necessary for this.

However, our artists are also experienced in using Unity (the game engine we use) so if they need to implement new art they can also do that, again without needing to know how to program.

We do have technical artsists who are hired to bridge the divide between programming and art, but their jobs are more technical art like optimisation which requires being able to program and kno...

To be clear in case anyone who isn’t familiar with how our team is structured reads this so may not understand what Jerog said here:

Our Customer Experience staff (CX team) handle all communication and are part of the game development team in house at Infinity Plus Two, the developers of Gems of War.

So we have full time staff dedicated to looking after communications and player support so that the programmers can focus on what they do best: programming and that responding to the community doesn’t delay work on bug fixes or new features :slight_smile:...

Yesterday was the last public holiday we had after a month of many many holidays and short weeks.

We’ll be continuining to answer tickets about Tide Lash today.

@S1eepy specifically: if you’d like a refund on your 2nd purchase please contact your store’s support asap (ie. Steam, Xbox, Googleplay, App store, Playstation…) as we can’t provide refunds from here, the store that you paid handles that.

If you’re unable to get a refund from them or as an alternative to a refund we’re happy to exchange your purchase for something of equal value from the game so just let us know what you plan in your ticket and we’ll help with that when we reply.

Our artists are full time artists, they don’t program, they don’t know how to program, no one wants them trying to solve bugs. This change did not require a single programmer so didn’t take any time away from bug fixing/development.

Good catch @Stratelier! The old art wasn’t bad but we just thought Kitsune should have looked more appealing especially as it’s an early game Troop so we wanted it to look nicer.

So we gave it to one of our in house illustrators to go crazy with it :smiley:

Hi folks,

This is a bandiad fix for the empty shop issues until the hotfix goes live to fix it properly.

You might see some content early until then.

You should receive what is displayed on the offer even if it’s early.

We are aware of an issue where this wasn’t the case for Tide Lash/Daemon Leash, and players who were shown something different to what they purchased for that will be compensated with the correct Weapon by Support when they contact us.

Hey folks,

We’ve spoken to the team about this first thing this morning.

This is a side effect of a bandaid fix we put in for the empty stores until the hotfix patch goes live to fix it properly. I knew you would get the next week’s content a little early but thought it was going to display what you would receive correctly.

If you’ve had this problem and contact support we will send you the Weapon you were shown when you made your purchase.

Yes or I wouldn’t have said anything. As always we delete or edit out the posts that breached the community guidelines.

Nothing further is needed from the community the bug was reported, it’s not as high priority given the other bugs that the team are working on right now so it’s not at the top of the list and will take time.
