Hey, we've received some reports but have issues reproducing this problem. A few questions:

- Did the issue occur before the 8.1 hotfix? (i.e. are you using the latest version of the game)

- Does the issue occur only on one specific save or is it happening on other game saves as well?

- Are the screenshots saved as normal in the "documents" folder?

- Are you running the game as admin? If not, please do so and check if it still happens

- Are you using any mods?

Thank you :)

Pretty epic - visually cooler than the bombing one, even if the C&C fan in me is loving the other one aswell

They said this lower in the comments .. responding to some other person.

As the person who wrote both comments you're quoting here: Yes, there are currently no plans for a third season.

Things can change, of course, and we're not fully ruling out potential additional DLC. But - again - we have no plans for that right now. Instead, the plan is to finish Season 2 with Land of Lions and some additional Game Updates if needed (plus a potential 3rd Cosmetic DLC Pack for "City Life", depending on the reception of "A Day at the Amusements").

The screenshot above summarises the thinking behind it pretty well, though :)

Hey everyone,

there are two independent teams working on the The Settlers and the Anno brand (Ubisoft Düsseldorf and Ubisoft Mainz).
While different Ubisoft studios of course support each other during the development of certain titles and share their expertise, there's no connection between the delay for The Settlers and the development of future content for Anno 1800.

Right now, there are no plans for a third season or additional content updates after Land of Lions.
GU9 will also include several fixes but also community-requested quality of live improvements which have been reported and suggested by you here on the forums or other channels

The savegames should be saved in your document --> Anno 1800 --> accounts folder.
Generally, if you have issues with saving the game or the game finding your savegames, make sure that
a) the savegames are located in the above-mentioned folder
b) your firewall and antivirus programs are not blocking the game.

Just to get back to you on this topic: Our teams asked for savegames of anyone affected. So if you could share an affected savegame with me (e.g. via direct message here), that would be great

The numbers so far followed the "cross total must be 0" principle - that's how you end up with the numbers for Anno 2070 and Anno 2205.

However, if we feel like an Anno 12345 (BC!) would be cool, then we'd do that. In the end it's just a number, even if one with tradition.

So far, though, we have no news on any potential future Anno projects.
There are quite a few hopes and theories as to future scenarios over on reddit but also the forums, ranging from Stone Age to Ancient times back to a late-Medieval scenario.
Be assured, as soon as we have news, you certainly won't miss them

All of the Anno games are inspired by history and our team spent a significant amount of time researching the era of Anno 1800. History buffs across all departments of the team spent countless hours going through hundreds of photographs and pictures as a reference for the design of ships and houses, researching on the societal changes and struggles of the time and discussing how to implement those as a gameplay feature. So while we are not and don’t want to be historically accurate, plenty of references can be found in the game.

The 1800s have also been an era of technology and innovations. Take “The Great Exhibition” that took place in London in 1851 as an example, which inspired the World’s Fairs in the game. Ground breaking innovations of the time found their way into Anno 1800, like railroads, electricity or steam ships, while Old Nate and his inventions are of course a small venture into early science fiction.

When we’re talking about expeditions, many of y...
