What are your other specs, besides your GTX 1070 GPU? What CPU and RAM do you have?

Hey DamysusTTV,

The datacenter you play on is automatically selected based on which provides you with the best connection / lowest ping - I do not believe we have a manual datacenter selection system as with Rainbow Six: Siege available for Hyper Scape at this time.

I'd recommend running through our connectivity troubleshooting to try and optimise your connection as much as possible.

Are you able to provide a screenshot or short video showing that you are kicked from the match / game just as it is starting?

I'd recommend running through our connectivity troubleshooting for the moment as well, to limit the possibility of a local network issue impacting your ability to stay connected.

Hey free_gamer_lol,

Per the system requirements for Hyper Scape, any Windows-compatible controller should work with the game. The DualShock 3 is not a controller that works without additional software, to my knowledge, and we cannot guarantee that it will function correctly in-game as a result.

Thanks for cross-posting that Reddit thread about similar issues here, GENOCOPS.

The recommendation on that post was to verify the integrity of Hyper Scape's game files - I'd certainly recommend giving this a try, in case a faulty installation or corrupted set of files is causing any issues. Let me know how it goes.

When searching for a match, do you ever get stuck in the loading screen?

Thanks for clarifying that there is no error, it just shows a black screen.

Are you trying to use the "Game Capture" option, or do you have the capture destination set to default?

If using Window / Display Capture as suggested by Selynar, are you able to record your gameplay without issue?

Finally, are you using the default OBS software, or Streamlabs OBS? Thanks

If possible, and this issue can be reproduced, can you provide us with a screenshot or short video showing the screen you ended up stuck on, so that we can provide the devs with an exact representation of where you'd ideally like an option to exit the game to be?

Just to confirm as well, was Uplay PC fully online at the point of you launching Hyper Scape? Had it reconnected to your network and synchronised your data?

I appreciate you'd like to stream Hyper Scape, and that's why you have the duplication active. For the moment, though, the recommended workaround is to disable monitor duplication in order to maintain performance and avoid the issues described earlier in the thread.

I appreciate this is inconvenient, and hope we'll be able to share more news about the devs' progress in investigating this issue soon. Thank you.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the game to work for you now. If you have any connected peripherals, these can sometimes cause interference for your inputs, or else take over as the primary input device. Disconnecting them is a solid troubleshooting step, and I'm glad it worked in your case.

Does the error message you're receiving mention any particular .dll files, or does it just reference your graphics driver version? Which GPU do you have, and what driver version are you currently running?

If you haven't already, please run through our PC troubleshooting steps to eliminate the possibility of this being caused by a basic / common issue.

Hyper Scape is only playable in first-person POV at this time. I've passed your feedback onto the development team for their consideration however, so thank you for taking the time to reach out to us about this!

Hey Limoca, have you tried connecting your display to your onboard GPU, rather than your dedicated one, to check whether there is any signal there if you select that as the primary display?

Can you please open Task Manager after selecting to launch the game, and advise me if the game appears there with 0% CPU usage?
