It is a possibility, @thermite46 - for us to look further into this, could you please let me know whether you are seeing any error messages on your individual save files themselves, such as a "Data Corrupt!" warning?

Can you also please tell me how many save files you have available to you, and whether you have attempted to load each of them to the same result of the game freezing on the loading screen / crashing?

Thank you for sharing this additional information, @qma1212. Just to confirm, you've mentioned that your PS4 system is running a modified version of FreeBSD - can you clarify whether this means that your console is running a custom version of its firmware that is not officially supported by Sony?

If so, I'm afraid that we would be unable to offer much further troubleshooting as your console is not running the firmware our games have been developed to support. We cannot guarantee that our games will work on any custom firmware installations or modified consoles.
