While some planets do require Odyssey for you to land on them, you shouldn't be offered missions that you cannot complete while playing in Horizons.

We've had a few reports of this on our support system, and an investigation has been opened with our QA team into this issue already. Please rest assured that we are looking into this!

Hello! The Cobra errors are variations of problems connecting to the adjudication or in-game mission servers.

When requesting missions, you are downloading a chunk of data over a short time. Therefore, for best results, we recommend making sure that nothing else is using your network in the background. For this reason, we would recommend avoiding streaming services such as YouTube/Twitch and making sure not to be downloading large files.

We also recommend logging into your router and disabling any content filters that may be present. In particular, look for anything that aims to filter fragmented traffic.

Hello! The Incorrect Manifest Checksum error occurring is usually due to your router filtering content when you download files from our servers.
You can usually overcome this issue by disabling web proxy filtering/web content filtering/firewalls in your router. Please check your router's settings and instructions on disabling these features.

Nowadays this means that you're logging into an account that doesn't have Elite Dangerous game access. You'll most likely need to link your account to Steam.
