Faith is not about logic. It does not come with an explanation.

Because he is busy working.

Nav will have changes to fit new features and the plot of the game, but that is not a20.

It may be both.

Yes.

They are cranking out new and refining existing POIs. Saw some cool new ones today. How about small POIs randomly inside bigger POIs? That seems to be working now.

7DTD saves are enormous and also reliant upon the world files; In total, even a new save between the save+world it would be near or in excess of 1gb+, and it only grows from there as you play. Steam cloud however has a limit of 1gb flat, and getting to that 1gb requires TFP to pay a lot..so between the two facts, this game is not steam cloud enabled.

As to how to transfer data, you'll find your saves and world files in "C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie"; easily accessed by searching "%appdata%" in windows search and selecting the 7DaysToDie folder.

Inside you'll find Generated Worlds, Saves, User Options, and a couple other things. Just transfer this entire folder (\7DaysToDie) to the same location (Roaming\) on your laptop.

Probably the only way you will see it.

It's not hard to mod either. I used to mod this into the game a lot.

Yes repeater crossbows do exist, but I don't see the developers implementing something like this.

Your request is understandable, OP. Maybe in the meantime (I don't mean this sarcastically) your friend with motion sickness could specialize in vehicles. With a big group, being the transporter of people & loot could almost be a full time role. I would also think more sedentary activities, like mining, would be less likely to trigger motion sickness since the camera is barely moving around.

You've got the right idea.

From the sounds of it, you or someone else has been in/around those houses to check for loot, and so reset the timer.

There's some limitations the system doesn't exactly warn you about. If you get too close (Within like 7-10 blocks)to a given lootable object before it's respawn timer ends, the respawn timer is reset. So on any lootable object you frequently go past, like bird nests right outside your base, you'll never see it respawn.

Be aware that the prefab maps are the same kinds of maps as ones you generate with the random world generator. RWG was used to create those pregen maps, so any unique qualities they have is down to random chance.

You may find useful the pinned thread in the Survivor Stories sub-forum, which is the place to discuss and share particular map seeds.

No. A bigger or smaller POI is not going to make the map bigger.

Don't know.

We are not working on vehicles other than adding mods. For a20 anyway.

I'm not working on it, so I don't know all the details.

The idea of having to scavenge for replacement or upgraded parts just to have a viable weapon is a game within a game. It gives players another personal goal. Then add on attachments and you have a pretty in depth system. I would not even care if some of the parts were generic. The same sort of system could easily be applied to vehicles.

I really do not know why they took it out, but I am hopeful that once the game goes to release and the workshop is integrated that some brilliant modder adds it back in.

It is also similar to the upcoming removal of the clothing only to add 'kits'. The kits ma...

Still, I kinda wish they would work on that instead of re-skinning zombies that were fine to begin with. :P I'd touch up graphics a bit later, but that's just my opinion.
Problem is that it's two different groups within the company that work on the Art vs work on implementing features.

The artists sitting around twiddling their thumbs while the coders work on XYZ is just...dumb, and a waste of resources. So, You have the artists work on touching up the models/textures/art/UI/etc. Meanwhile the coders are still working on whatever they're working on.

how so? I want to play it again and start over, not because I hate restarting
It's the implications behind 'Rage-quit' and 'feeling like you HAVE to start over' and 'feeling angry' about doing it. Rage-quit is something you do when you're like, absolutely done with a game- you're frustrated, you're angry,... Read more

There will be road variety just because RWG now has a tile system and they are making road tiles for towns that are wider and look more like real roads.

As far as some general hierarchy, have not heard that mentioned.

There’s horde night to consider, when your noise/stealth meter doesn’t matter, and depending on your defense strategy, movement speed may not matter either. I’ve taken to wearing light armor six days of the week and heavy armor (for the extra protection) on the seventh.

Yep. Known issue. Zed AI is incomplete. Has been a known issue for a couple of years, and is a work in progress. It takes time to develop an AI that can path around a non-static landscape.

If it's the same prefab name then it will update the next time it gets respawned for a quest.

Most games have saves in the 500-1000kb range, or up to maybe 25-50mpb tops for really dense save files in a massive open world exploration RPG.. When saves are smaller in size than a typical smart phone picture it's negligible to have three or four or more copies of it.

However for both you and the Octo, here's a possible fix that could possibly restore t... Read more
