This is because some perks changed how many levels there are in each. In A18.4 (if I'm not wrong) we would reach 299 and still missing 1 point to be full perk, but in A19.2 some perks aren't up to 5 leves anymore, some are 3 like Living Off the Land, and some are 4 like Adventurer. Because of that you keep getting more and more perk points without perk to spend.
Close- In A18.4 you would reach level 300 which provided 299... Read more

Yeah, we all run into this problem of how to make the best opening in a wall from which to shoot. Though the arrow slit shape is specifically designed for this purpose, there are lots of options to get different sight lines, including ones that span multiple blocks. I've tried all sorts of shapes, and I've seen even more possibilities in others' videos. It's fun to experiment! :lunar2019coolpig:

I'm moving this to Off Topic because it's not about the game.

The more threads that are kept in a catch-all, default section, the less organized the forum is and the more threads users have to skim over to find the content that interests them. That's why we have sub-forums in general. We have Survivor Stories for threads where the emphasis is on the experience of particular players for its own sake, using the game only as a medium, as opposed to most threads that focus on the state of the game. It's a distinctly different format, especially when people want to post links to their streaming channels, long videos, or other forms of media.

A fair number of people would consider these posts advertising/spammy if posted to General Discussions alongside other threads. At the same time, they help promote the game and some people seek out such content.

Other moderators and I have asked for organizational changes for years. For example, changing General Que... Read more

So....You're level 279? Or you modded your game to give extra skill points?

If the former, Congrats- That's some monumental effort, even on 300% exp gain.

That said, If neither of the mentioned are true, The attributes aren't the only thing to buy- Each attribute tree has many skills, And it takes up to level 279 to purchase every last skill currently.

It's not really important to worry about left over skill points..It doesn't harm your character in any way to have them. Max level is 300, so if you ARE level 279+, then the exp will stop on it's own rather soon as far as things go.

Auger mining is most ideal for when you've created an entrenched position with defenses and traps that can kill the screamers before she sees you. It makes a LOT of noise/activity; And that makes for lots of screamers.

If you aren't willing to entrench, then just mine with a pickaxe- It's much more efficient to do it with a pickaxe than to spend 3/4 of your time killing zombies just to use an auger.

Ehm...Not currently, I don't think? That said, TFP are currently in the process of revamping the player models the way they've done with zombies. So, Maybe next alpha your wife will be able to make an equally pretty lady.

That said, mods CAN add models and stuff; just not sure they can currently interfere with player models at this time.

I mean, there's metal bars; but it'll obstruct shooting slightly. Alternatively concrete arrow slots. There IS a concrete half block too, though. And a concrete plate.

Craft a wet concrete block, hold it in hand, hold R/your reload key and select the shape menu- proceed to examine all the shapes.

As far as I am aware, this is still correct, but should be rectified at some point.

Since this is a necro, we'll go ahead and lock it down. Feel free to check the a19 bugs to see if it's listed, and report it if it's not.

The boundary margins actually stop if you dig below them. If it's infinite, why don't the boundaries show this?
Because of limitations in the display box for performance, or something like that. It's been a bit since I asked about it so I can't quote specifics, but the impression I got was that making it display infinitely vertical tanked performance on some systems.

If a shape isn't available in the shape menu, remember to try different materials where it might exist. If you still have no luck, creative mode is an option to get what you want.

Very late game, sure- But from the sounds of it, OP is much earlier in the game and/or more of a newbie to not know that the dukes were his currency.

It's all well and good to smelt your money when you know you're doing it. But it is a ... Read more

Sound occlusion is planned, but not implemented yet.

Glass in hand, hold R(or whatever your reload key is if you remapped it), select shape menu. Should be in there. Note that other objects also have shape menus like wooden furniture, metal furniture, wooden frames, rebar frames, wet concrete blocks, etc- keep an eye out for the icon.
