I am playing the game in single player on my Mac, so it is incorrect to say the software does not work on macOS. It wouldn't be fair in my view to deny all Mac users the ability to buy this in progress game - a group that starts out with a limited number of games to choose from - just because a subset of those users that want to use a particular feature can't yet. I'm thankful the game is still available for purchase, and I'm thankful TFP have publicly docum... Read more

You don't really grow out of needing a workbench, even with late game gear. A workbench will remain useful because there are some things - ammo in particular - that A) are consumable, so you'll always need more; and B) require the workbench to craft. Plus, the workbench can make anything you can craft out of the backpack. So it's great for e.g. making a stack of 1000 cobblestone or what have you while freeing up your crafting queue to make odds and ends in the meantime.

It is a sandbox game, so you can find an alternate path around most supposed necessities if you're determined enough. In the case of ammo, you could loot or buy enough to get by, or mount a base defense that doesn't rely on needing much ammo. But with that caveat, I tend to agree with Frank: the want for a workbench will always be there.

Note that we have active Servers and Meeting Room sub-forums to help users find a server or group of people to play with, respectively. :steamhappy:

This is an EAC issue, not a 7 Days to Die Issue.

EAC is aware of the problem, and supposedly working on a fix. Until they (Epic) fix it, TFP cannot release an updated version of EAC to fix the issue.

Edit: This isn't the first time this has happened with a Mac OS update either. Just what you have to expect when you run an OS that has less than 2% of the market share.

Most servers are private.

The game is designed for small group co-op with friends. Up to 8 players. This isn't a MMO like Conan or Ark.

You do know how to do research and learn things yes? Literally 30 seconds on Google and you will find a YouTube video. It doesn't even require reading a guide because people apparently don't have the patience for that anymore.

How is extracting a zip file into a single Mods folder a pain?

Not a bug. This is an intended feature. If you leave before the night is over, it will restart when you come back.

I think if the wiki is still showcasing info from A16, trying to make edits is gonna be a losing battle.
The wiki is player-driven content for the most part.

Once the game is finished, this is not likely to happen anymore.

It is part of the price you pay for testing a game before it is released.

One would accomplish this through modifying the game files if it’s still possible, so I’ll move your thread to the modding section.
